Formability of Thin Steel Sheets Coated with Anodized Aluminum

Thesis deals with the design of the technological process of anodic oxidation (creating elox coating) on aluminium film in the system steel-aluminium-elox, with the findings of characteristics of this system, comparing with the contemporary knowledge and practical utilization of this system in practice. My thesis in the teoretical part describes creating of anodic oxidation (elox coating) and the process of bending and stretching the sheet. Theoretical aspects of interaction among elox finish, process of bendings and process of stretching are implemented in the experimental part and they are supported by identified knowledge and results. The practical part is focused on improving adhesion, designing and constructing a multifunctional bending product for testing resistance of the finish applied on a tested product. Under the terms of determination distributing deformation and tension in bended coated plate, this plate is tested by statistic analysis with the help of the Finit Element Method (FEM) in the programme ANSYS. The experimental part compares discovered results of each experiment in the system steel – aluminium – elox with the results of aluminium plates with elox finish, stainless plates and steel plates with aluzinc.
Influence of Zinc Coating Morphology on Limit Conditions Formability of Thin Sheet Metal

The doctor thesis deals about the influence of zinc coating morphology on limit conditions formability of a thin sheet metal. In the introduction of the thesis is discusesed about current problems searching the most suitable morphology of the steel sheet metals, a method of appliing to the zinc sheet metal. The hot dip zinc coating is discussed in next chapter, the topical knowledges about the influence of the individual factors have some effect to coat calibre and quality. In literary researchs are discussed the concrete technological tests of zinc coating to harder sheet metal forming, the theory of the bend and the basic theory of pressing sheet metal. In following chapter is devoted interpretation selected technological tests, according to that is described behaviour, characteristics, influence of zinc coating formability of basic material and his morphology.
Ray Tracing for Electron Microscope

This thesis is pointed on simulation of electron microscope. It uses knowledge  from ray-tracing methods and physically based rendering with physics of electron microscopy. The main object of this thesis is to create realistic simulator for electron microscope which can generate satisfying realistic images. This output can be used for another research in range of machine learning or microscope application development. This method should replace long and more expensive way of getting test images from real system for those research activities.

Inflation: Predictive Power of Google Trends Data

This thesis explores the utility of Google Trends data in enhancing predictive power accuracy of ARIMA models for forecasting inflation in the Czech republic. The research was structured to address two core hypotheses: the rationality of inflation expectations as reflected in Google Trends search queries and the ability of the data to augment the predictive power of traditional inflation forecasting models. Our findings indicate that Google Trends data, when incorporated as an ex- ternal regressor in ARIMA models, significantly improve the model's predictive accuracy, especially in periods characterized by high inflation rates and eco- nomic turbulence. This provides evidence for the claim that Google Trends is able to effectively capture shifts in consumer sentiment and expectations. However, the study acknowledges limitations, including the specificity of the time domains analyzed and the exclusive focus on the Czech Republic. These factors may limit the generalizability of the results. In summary, this thesis contributes to the evolving field of economic fore- casting by demonstrating the value of integrating unconventional digital data sources like Google Trends into traditional econometric models. Hydroxyl radical measurement in atmospheric pressure dimethyl ether-air laminar premixed flat flame using tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy

Spectroscopic detection of hydroxyl (OH) radical and determination of its concentration in flames have an elusive history and considerable influence on combustion research. Electronic transitions in ultraviolet spectral region were extensively studied in this context and until recent time chemiluminescence or laser induced fluorescence of excited hydroxyl (OH*) radical is broadly used for absolute concentration and temperature measurement in flames.\nHowever, number densities of molecular species and population of relevant quantum levels in ground electronic state can be directly estimated from intensities of absorption lines observed by probing rovibrational transitions in infrared spectral region. Application of near-infrared tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy (NIR-TDLAS) for the given purpose was demonstrated in an earlier work of Aizawa et al. [1]. Following his pioneering studies summarized in [2], we further explored feasibility of NIR-TDLAS (especially 2f-WMS technique) for monitoring minor species within combustion experiments particularly when dealing with dimethyl ether (DME) flames. Here we report our first results of NIR-TDLAS measurements focused on hydroxyl radical detection in laminar premixed flame burning DME-air mixture under fuel-lean conditions.
High resolution infrared spectroscopy as diagnostic tool for combustion and plasma chemistry

Monitoring of transient species within combustion experiments (laminar flames, shock-tubes, flow reactors, etc.) is still relatively challenging task especially if application of non-invasive, i.e. optical detection methods is required. High resolution infrared spectroscopy is based on observation of the fine rotation structure that accompanies vibration transitions and thus provides direct information essential to characterization of both molecular structure and reaction dynamics. Thanks to its outstanding advantage enabling unambiguous assignment of specific molecular system according to its spectral feature, it can serve as a helpful tool for exploring complex reaction mechanisms as well as chemical reactivity of individual species present in laboratory flames or plasmas.\nPrevious studies gaining new insights into combustion and plasma chemistry as well as our recent advances targeted towards application of high resolution infrared spectroscopy for species concentration measurement in laminar flames are summarized here below.
Wavelength modulation spectroscopy for multicomponent ana-lytics of biomass burning tracers

The potential of Tunable Diode Laser Absorption Spectroscopy (TDLAS) for monitoring of several species produced by biomass burning is in focus of this work. The infrared spectra of selected molecules (HCOOH, C2H2, CH3CN, N2O, CH3OH, CH3COCH3) are measured in laboratory conditions and the selectivity and of this method is demonstrated.
