Legendrian submanifolds in high-dimensional contact topology
Strakoš, Filip ; Golovko, Roman (advisor) ; O'Buachalla, Re (referee)
This thesis deals with results concerning both flexible and rigid parts of contact topol- ogy. Basic notions of contact topology and constructions of higher-dimensional Legen- drian submanifolds are stated. There is proved the existence of infinite family of pair-wise Legendrian non-isotopic loose Legendrian embeddings of 3-torus so that each embedding is not a Legendrian product of lower-dimensional tori. In the rest of the text, the bilin- earized Legendrian contact homology invariant is described and the criterion for DGA- homotopy of augmentation of Chekanov-Eliashberg algebra for disconnected Legendrian submanifolds is proved. 1
Evaluation of the dynamic postural stability of rugby players

Autor: Filip Strakoš Title: Evaluation of dynamic postural stability of rugby players Objective: The aim of this work is to find out how is the dynamic postural stability of rugby players different from the dynamic postural stability of healthy population with regular physical activity that does not perform rugby. Methods: In my diploma thesis I use the computer posturograph NeuroCom Smart EquiTest to record and measure dynamic postural stability. This device mainly focuses on examinations with the possibility of subsequent therapy of mainly functional disorders in the musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, sensory and vestibular apparatus. Seven rugby players from the Prague club RC Praga were selected for the research. The players were 18-34 years old. The original number of probands was 20, but due to the pandemic situation, less players were involved in the research overall. The measurement took place in October 2020 in the laboratory of the Department of Physiotherapy at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport, Charles University. SMART EquiTest includes the following standardized evaluation protocols Sensory Organization Test (SOT), Motor Control Test (MCT), Adaptation Test (ADT), Limits of Stability (LOS), Rhythmic Weight Shift (RWS), Weight Bearing Squat (WBS), Unilateral Stance (US). The...
Vector fields on spheres
Strakoš, Filip ; Salač, Tomáš (advisor) ; Golovko, Roman (referee)
This thesis deals with partial results concerning the problem of existence of vector fields on spheres. The proof of the Hairy Ball Theorem is given using the tools of the the- ory of characteristic classes. Basic notions of algebraic topology are stated in order to define the Euler class. Its definition is followed by the computation of the Euler charac- teristic class for the tangent bundle of even-dimensional sphere. In the rest of the text, the method of construction of vector fields on spheres using the orthogonal multiplica- tion is explained and the Radon-Hurwitz-Eckmann Theorem is proved. A brief historical background of the existence of the finite-dimensional real division algebras is mentioned at the end.
The case study of the physiotherapeutic care of a patient with total endoprothesis of a knee joint
Strakoš, Filip ; Novotná, Irena (advisor) ; Sohrová, Jana (referee)
Title: The case study of the physiotherapeutic care of a patient with total endoprothesis of a knee joint Objectives: The purpose of this bachelor thesis is the processing of case reports about one patient during the bachelor's practice, which took place in the hospital Centrum léčby pohybového aparátu. This is a case study of the physiotherapeutic care of a patient with artrotic diagnosis with implantation of total endoprosthesis of the left knee joint. The patient was hospitalized on 9 January 2019 and the surgery took place on 10 January 2019. Methods: The thesis is divided into general and special part. The general part explains anatomy and kinesiology of the knee joint. Further, the thesis deals with the description of arthrotic disease, surgical treatment by application of endoprosthesis and physiotherapeutic care after surgery. The content of the special part is a case study of the patient. From physiotherapeutic methods, I used soft tissue techniques, Lewit's mobilization and postisometric relaxation, sensomotorcal stimulation by Janda, exercises according to muscle test and Kabat's method PNF. I used the foam balls, overball and underarm crutches during the individual therapies. Results: The patient co-operated during all the therapeutic units very well. The patient was satisfied with...
The effect of water-based exercise program on the functional physical fitness in elderly
Strakoš, Filip ; Kramperová, Veronika (advisor) ; Chrzanowská, Babeta (referee)
Title: The effect of water-based exercise program on the functional physical fitness in elderly Objectives: The purpose of this study was to verify the effect of water-based exercise program on functional performance in elderly. Methods: Seven elderly subjects (two men; mean age 70.5 ± 3.5 years and five women; mean age 68.6 ± 8.6 years) volunteered to participate in the study. The subjects participated in a twelve-week supervised exercise program in shallow water once a week (60 min/session). Selected parameters of body composition (body weight, TPH,% TT, TBW, ICW, ECW, ECM / BCM) were determined by multi- frequency bioimpedance electrode (device B.I.A. 2000). The level of hand grip strength was measured by hand-grip dynamometer. The level of lower extremity muscle strength was measured by the 30-Second Chair Stand Test. In order to measure the flexibility of lower back, the standardized motor test Sit and Reach Test was chosen. Results: Intervention program did not induce significant changes in the monitored parameters of body composition. The quality of muscle was unchanged, parameter ECM / BCM remains unchanged. Values of water (ICW and ECW) remained without significant changes and show some stability. A surprising finding is that after the intervention the body fat percentage increased by 7.1%...
