Controlling of stepper motor
Semrád, Michal ; Žalud, Luděk (referee) ; Kopečný, Lukáš (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis discusses about the fundamental issues of stepper motors. The following text provides an overview of different types of stepper motors and explains how they can be controlled. Followed is chosen the stepper motor, which is controlled by using driver A4988 and evaluation kit Primer STM32C. Graphic user interface is created on the LCD display of the evaluation kit.
6 Axis Manipulator Control
Semrád, Michal ; Chromý, Adam (referee) ; Hynčica, Ondřej (advisor)
This master thesis discusses about designing and realization of a control system for a 6-axis robotic arm. The controlling system consist in a microcontroller LPC1756 with its firmware implemented under the Real-time operating system FreeRTOS and GUI application, running on a PC. The Microcontroller communicates with the PC through a serial line via SLIP protocol. Theoretically, it will deal with an explanation of the important terms, and describes the used robotic arm and its controlling unit. The practical part describes kinematics problems solving, firmware’s realization and GUI application.
Metabolic Effects Of Hyperthermic Isolated Limb Perfusion (HILP) in Malignant Melanoma Patients
Hodková, Gabriela ; Semrád, Michal (advisor) ; Štádler, Petr (referee)
Hodková, Gabriela - Metabolic Effects Of Hyperthermic Isolated Limb Perfusion (HILP) in Malignant Melanoma Patients First Faculty of Medicine, Charles University in Prague, Praha 2, Kateřinská 32 Head of the work: Doc. MUDr. Michal Semrád, CSc. Supervisor - consultant: MUDr. Miroslav Špaček, Ph. D. The aim of the study is to assess the metabolic consequences of mechanical isolation and hyperthermic cytostatic perfusion in a limb affected by malignant process. The theoretical part refers to a topic of malignant melanoma, its clinical evaluation and treatment. Methods based on conservative and surgical treatment are described. The isolated hyperthermic cytostatic limb perfusion is a consecutive local treatment indicated in cases of recurrent malignant lesions following surgical resection, when next surgery is impossible. In the practical part, the laboratory samples and clinical data were recorded in patients who had undergone hyperthermic cytostatic limb perfusion in the 2nd Surgical Department of The General Teaching Hospital and First Faculty of Medicine, Charles University Prague. The affected limb was flushed with a warm oxygenated blood containing cytostatic drugs using an extracorporeal circuit apparatus. Selected arterial blood gas, metabolic and hematologic parameters were studied intra and...
Haemolysis and other biochemical evaluations of vacuum-assisted venous drainage in cardiac surgery
Škorpil, Jiří ; Tošovský, Jan (advisor) ; Lonský, Vladimír (referee) ; Semrád, Michal (referee)
Haemolysis and other biochemical evaluations of vacuum-assisted venous drainage in cardiac surgery Aims of the study: Vacuum-assisted venous drainage (VAVD) improves the quality of venous return in procedures using extracorporeal circulation systems (ECC). Nevertheless, there is not an evidence that such high negative pressure applied to ECC in combination with selective bicaval cannulation due to open heart surgery cause a trauma to blood elements and deteriorates organ function. A prospective randomised study was designed to demonstrate that negative pressure of -20 mm Hg to -80 mm Hg does not cause a significant haemolysis and organ deterioration in such procedures. Materials and methods: 85 consecutive patients undergoing combined cardiac surgery procedure with two separate venous cannulas were randomised in three groups A, B and C. VAVD with negative pressure of -20 to -45 mm Hg was applied to 28 patients in group A and negative pressure of -45 mm Hg to -80 mmHg was applied to 28 patients in group B. There was zero negative pressure applied to 29 patients in group C. Six blood samples were taken from each patient and examinated for haemolysis and other indicators of organ deterioration such as hemoblobin, platelet count, free hemoglobin, aptoglobin, lactate-dehydrogenase, aspartate-amino-transferase,...

Semrád, Michal ; Pfeiferová, Daniela (advisor) ; Romana, Romana (referee)
The topic of the thesis Efficiency of investments company Ecoproduct s.r.o. (Ltd.) is the analytical evaluation of activities, processes, economic (financial) value of the company, the influence of a legal framework on activities of the firm and last but not least the assessment of new investments. The theoretical part is referencing properly cited expert information resources. The practical application includes SWOT analysis of efficiency of the company more focused on the technical and marketing analysis (4P). The paper also brings a financial analysis of investments to the company including evaluation of performance indicators. In the resume there is the analysis of an investment to the production of beef innards and the proposal of acquisition of new machine production.
