Interest on voluntary vaccination in the district Louny

v anglickém jazyce (Summary): Bachelor thesis is devoted to non-mandatory vaccination. These vaccines immunization status and parents' satisfaction with the information provided on this topic. The theoretical part deals with the history of vaccination in general, and its gradual implementation in The Czech Republic. It explains the concepts of immunity and immunization, describes various infectious diseases against which it can now voluntarily get vaccinated, including a list of available vaccines on the market. There are also discussed best practices, legislation and duties of medical personnel, to be followed when applying. In the empirical part is to evaluate quantitative research that was carried out from September to October 2015, questionnaire was used. The main objective was to determine the non-vaccination rates in the district of vaccines, and parents' satisfaction with the level of information provided 165 questionnaires were distributed and 106 were evaluated answered. The results showed that the vaccination individual vaccines are 61.3%. The greatest demand is for vaccines against pneumococcal infections. If a child is not vaccinated beyond the obligation, then the main reason there are doubts about the usefulness of vaccines, 33.3% .Most of those surveyed were satisfied with the...
Application of early detection and brief intervention tools by nurses among patients with suspected alcohol or tobacco harmful use or dependence syndrome

Given the high prevalence of alcohol and tobacco use among minors and adult population in the Czech Republic a high incidence of diseases related to excessive use of these substances can be observed as well. Health care professionals, especially nurses, are in a unique position for implementation of screening and brief intervention in order to reduce risk and harmful substance abuse. Legislation of the Czech Republic regarding harmful consequences of risk alcohol and tobacco use obliges them to conduct brief intervention in suspected cases. The theoretical part of this thesis summarizes the current situation regarding prevalence and incidence of alcohol and tobacco use in the Czech Republic, describes diseases resulting from excessive alcohol and tobacco use, defines methods for early detection and brief intervention and finally characterizes the role of nurses in providing brief interventions. Crisis management in a healthcare organization

This project deals with handling of a personal crisis in a health organisation, caused by influence of independent, foreign causation. The first theoretical part of my project presents the nursery and qualifies the quality of the nursing service. The system of employee's care is also a process of a change. I present here among other things also a process of a change. In detail I describe an entity management in the stage of crisis, the identification of the crisis cause and reason and consequently the following solution and remedy actions to decrease the negative impacts of such a crisis for the respective entity and environment. The second part of my project is the practical one and describes the crisis development and the way how to dodge the impact of this event on the health service level in the Benešov - Hospital during a time space aof one year. I decided to present here also the indicators announcing the origin of a crisis and consequently the way, how to handle and master such a situation by the management of the entity. One part of this project is also the recommendation for other management, where its or their entity (entities) suffered a similar crisis.
Nutritional Consultancy within the Framework of Crafts

Introduction: Bachelor thesis is focused on nutritional consultancy within the framework of crafts and its providing. Further subject is exploration of patients/clients satisfaction with nutritional consultancy. Object: Bachelor thesis target is to familiarize readers with forms of providing nutritional consultancy and regulations in this activity. Practical part is focused on exploration of patients/clients satisfaction with nutritional consultancy and comparison between consultancy provided by dieticians and nutrition counsellors. Methods: Research was in form of anonymous on-line questionnaire. Obtained data is displayed in form of graphs. One thesis part is devoted to data analysis. Results: Theoretical part clearly point to the fact that current legislation regulating activity of nutritional consultancy is not adjusted correctly. As emerged from the questionnaire most of respondents are partly satisfied with process of nutrition research. Greater proportion of respondents mentioned larger satisfaction with work of dieticians compared with nutritional counsellors. Nursing caring for a patient with thyroid gland disease

This bachelor's thesis "Nursing care for female patient with thyroid disease" consists of two parts describing theory and practise. Theoretic part provides basic information about thyroid gland - anatomy, histology and physiology - function in human organism, followed by description of goitre, the most frequent disease requiring surgical intervention, focused on disorder reasons, incidence symptoms, diagnostics, therapy, possible complications and prognosis for patients suffering this disease. Part of the literary researche describes the nursing care process for patient with planned neck surgery, and the role of the nurse in pre- operative preparation and a post-operation care. Practical part presents a case story of 53 years old female patient from diagnosis to definitive surgical solution. Case story has been described according to the Marjorie Gordon nursing modus, which accentuates biologic and social needs of the client. Patient care for patient with pancreatic necrosis

As a topic of the bachelor thesis we have chosen Nursing process at a patient with necrotic pancreas. The patient was originally hospitalized for acute pancreatis, however, necrotic pancreatis developed during hospitalization. The aim of the study is to describe nursing care at a patient with necrotic pancreatis at Vacuum Assisted Closure and to catch complexity from the point of view of the nursing care of the patient and description of particular phenomenona, which have been demonstrated on a nursing model Henderson. A case study has been used as a method of research. A result of the paper was also supposed to be a finding concerning nursing care and stating that although pancreatic is often terminal disease and can develop even several years after stress and in abstinent period, the patient from the case study has successfully integrated into working process after he was cured. Experiencing psychical and physiological transitions during primipara pregnancy

Background: Pregnancy is one of the life-changing periods of life for the first-time mothers. Every woman is experiencing psychical and physiological transitions in a different individual way. First-time mothers are learning how to accept and identify themselves with a role of mother. Social support is an important factor for pregnant women's assistance. First-time mothers are using books, internet, pregnancy counselling and prenatal courses as a way how to get needful information. Perception of their body image is changing during pregnancy and after delivery Objectives: The aim od this study is to capture individual experiences of woman with psychological and physiological transitions during their first pregnancy and to find out which factors are important in experiencing them. The bachelor's thesis is focused on the nursing care of the women after a breast augmentation with silicon implants, which is the most required procedure in the aesthetic plastic surgery. In the last decades the plastic and aesthetic surgery comes to the forefront, various operational techniques are being developed. After this surgery the nursing care is very important for the good healing process and a successful result of the intervention. The theoretical part of the thesis describes not only the plastic surgery and breast augmentation in general, but also its historical development worldwide and in the Czech Republic. The anatomy and evolution of breasts is mentioned too, and a small part of silicon implants. In the theoretical part it is described everything from the preoperative preparation, postoperative care to the education of the patients in separate chapters. In the empirical part there is a quantitative investigation in form of a self-structured survey.
