Transformation of second homes on the example Pilsen and background

The thesis deals with transformation of the second homes in three diference lokalities, when is hypotezed diference intensity of change objects in each area dependence on traffic availability. First area is city Plzeň, where is research of garden colonies and holiday resort. Transformation is in gradually progress on particular housing development. Trend of particular areas is set with ground plan. Next area of research is town background created by municipality, which is located of town borders. In outskirts of big towns is proceed suburbanization, what influence transformation recreational objects. Last locality is recreation area Hracholusky, where transformation and suburbanization is depended of traffic availability municipality. Amenity migration and regional identity in the Prachatice region

This Thesis called "Amenity migration and regional identity in the Prachatice region" looks into comparing the strenght of regional identity of inhabitants and amenity migrants in the field of interest area ORP Prachatice. Amenity migration is quite new term that can be translated as "pleasure migration". This specific type of migration stems from the hum desire to live in areas with high quality environment. This usualy includes the transition of population from urban to countryside environment. For the use of this Thesis the area of interest was chosen area of ORP Prachatice that consist of three executive offices - PÚ Netolice, PÚ Prachatice and PÚ Volary. The whole area of interest offers on a quite narrow territory three different environments. The aim of this Thesis is the comparison of the level of regional identity among inhabitants in relation to the diverse environment and also the comparison of the strenght of regional identity between the group of permanent inhabitants and amenity migrants. Delimitation of peripheral areas in Czechia based on secondary data

This thesis deals with the problem of specifying of peripheral areas in dissertations at the Department of Social Geography and Regional Development of the Faculty of Science at Charles University in Prague. There have been many thesis concentrating on the identification of peripheral areas in particular territory in last twenty years. Authors of these dissertations created their own methodologies of this specifying. This work aims to further discover and examine ways the authors try to identify peripheral areas using secondary data and tries to find potential common features of this identification. The thesis applies different methods of identifying of peripheral areas from analyzed dissertations in the region of Rokycany district. The work describes similarities and differences of results. In the end the most appropriate method of identifying of peripheral areas is recommended.

URBAN TOURISM IN A REGIONAL CENTRE PLZEŇ AS A CASE STUDY Abstract The main themes of this thesis are urban tourism in important regional centre Plzeň, its present situation, tourism potential and future development. The aim of this assignment is to survey tourism in Plzeň. The preamble is devoted to general problems of tourism, methods for processing and evaluation of bibliography. The content of the next chapters describes assumptions and subsequently forms of tourism and their possible future potential. During a field research questionnaire survey with accommodation operators was made, which is evaluated in several parts of this work. The final section contains an evaluation of the issue. BACHELOR THESIS ABSTRACT Author: Marie Novotná Supervisor: Mgr. Ivona Heřmanová Title of Bachelor Thesis: Physical activity and treatment of patients with acute coronary syndrome Abstract: The subject matter of this bachelor thesis is the relationship between acute coronary syndrome (ACS) and physiotherapy. The theoretical part summarizes up to date facts about pathophysiology, etiology, diagnostics and ways of treatment of ACS. It includes a specific form of physiotherapy used not only during in-house hospital treatment but also as a follow up treatment after patient's discharge. The aim of the practical part was to emphasize the importance and implementation of the patients' physical activity and change of their lifestyle after discharge from hospital. Anamnesis, examination and individual therapy was recorded in each patient's case history file. Feedback was obtained in a form of a questionnaire sent to patients for completion, with their prior agreement, two weeks after their discharge from the hospital. BAKALÁŘSKÉ PRÁCE Title: Physiotherapy in Patients after Acute Myocardial Infarction and Aspects Influencing their Convalescence Abstract: This bachelor's thesis deals with physiotherapy and the application principles of secondary prevention in the hospital phase of rehabilitation in patients after acute myocardial infarction. The aim of this thesis is to describe the physiotherapeutical management in the hospital phase and the ways in which a physiotherapist can influence a lifestyle change of the patient. The design of this work is theoretical-practical. In the theoretical section, facts about the anatomy of the heart and myocardial infarction are summarised. The main chapters are devoted to the physiotherapeutical management in the hospital phase and to the aspects of secondary prevention which deal with risk factors of ischaemic heart disease. In the practical section, the course of the physiotherapeutical management is described in two case studies, as well as preventive intervention focusing on quitting smoking, change of dietary habits, increase in physical activity and the screening for depression and other psychosocial risk factors in two patients after acute myocardial infarction during their hospital stay in the General Teaching Hospital in Prague.
