Noise meter and sound detector
Jedlička, Petr ; Novák, Marek (referee) ; Povalač, Aleš (advisor)
This work deals with design and construction of a noise meter, which measures sound pressure level. The device can be set either for weighting filter A or for weighting filter C considering the characteristics of human hearing, the device also allows two modes, fast and slow, depending on the rate of changes of sound pressure level. It tis possible to send measured data to a PC through a measuring application. The noise meter can be powered either by three AA batteries or by a PC through USB interface. The noise meter can be controlled by voice commands.

Glossators a Commentators in the Strahov Library
Novák, Marek ; Skřejpek, Michal (advisor) ; Salák, Pavel (referee) ; Falada, David (referee)
348 Glossators a Commentators in the Strahov Library Private law in the Czech Republic, but also in many countries of the world, has its origin in the law of ancient Rome, the development of which reached its peak in the form of a codification compiled at the initiative of Emperor Justinian I in the 6th century AD. However, modern civil codes do not draw their content, theoretically defined institutes, and systematics directly from the sources of Roman law, but from the results of their processing by medieval and early modern period jurists. This process is referred to as the reception of Roman law and, in addition to the discovery, or rather realization of importance, of Justinian codification, it involved its detailed study, the search for a system in the insufficiently organized compilation of the statements of classical Roman lawyers, the abstraction of theoretical concepts from casuistic norms and the transfer of ancient norms to the contemporary world. This thesis focuses on the first two stages of the process of reception of Roman law, which are referred to as schools of glossators and commentators according to the typical ways of work of lawyers, and which extend from approximately the second half of the 11th century to the end of the 15th century. It searches manuscripts, incunabula, and printed...

Marketing strategy for the use of sports facilities in Psychiatric Institution Bohnice
Novák, Marek ; Šíma, Jan (advisor) ; Voráček, Josef (referee)
The thesis examines a suitable marketing strategy to use sporting venues located at the Psychiatric Institute of Bohnice that is ranked among the best in the Czech Republic in terms of size, provided and progressive services. Among the main priorities of the Bohnice institute management headed by MUDr. Martin Hollý is organising events for general public and thus contributing to popularise the institute premise. The aim is to destigmatise mental disorders and to change the view on psychiatry as a medical specialisation. Interconnecting life "behind the fence" with life "outside" helps to integrate mentally ill people from the institute back into a normal life. One of the examples is the use of sporting facilities by general public. 63 Acquisition and Protection of Possession in Roman Law The purpose of the thesis is to analyse and describe acquisition and protection of possession in Roman Law in detail. Both aspects are closely related and it is appropriate to examine them together. Regulation of acquisition of possession would not be necessary if possession was not protected, protection of possession would be indeterminate if there was not any rules in relation to its acquisition. Description of Roman Law regulation is supported by authentic texts, especially the Corpus Iuris Civilis, the body of law issued under emperor Justinian. The thesis is composed of two fundamental chapters. The first chapter consists of four parts and focuses on acquisition of possession in Roman Law. Firstly, it deals with classification of acquisition of possession as the control intentionally exercised toward a thing, especially the division on occupation and tradition of possession. Then, description of acquisition through an agent according to Roman law follows as well as cases of legal disability to manifest the intention to acquire possession. The second chapter is composed of three parts and deals with protection of possession in Roman Law. It examines the origin of possession and its historical roots, especially interdicts used in relation to public...

Network End Node for Spacial Monitoring of Atmosphere Parameters
Mlynář, Zdeněk ; Smetana, Lukáš (referee) ; Novák, Marek (advisor)
LoRaWAN end node is often a device composed of a sensor, or actor. In this case it is sensor monitoring atmosphere parameters. This can be used to investigate atmospheric impact on Free Space Optics. This work is firstly focused on physical layer LoRa, then on LoRaWAN communication protocol. LoRaWAN device classes are also described and examples of measurable parameters can be found at the end of the theoretical part as well. The practical part describes all components, which were chosen when designing this device, and lastly it comprises the schematic design. The result is printed circuit board design.
