Czechoslowak-British Relations 1945-1948 using the Documents of the Czechoslovak Ministry of Foreign Affairs

This diploma thesis examines the Czechoslovak-British relations between 1945 and 1948 primarily by analysing documents found in the Archive of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic. The thesis focuses on the politico-diplomatic relations and describes their evolution with regards to events of major importance to both involved countries; such as parliamentary elections, the question of German population transfer, or the attitude of Czechoslovakia and the United Kingdom towards the Marshall Plan. The thesis is divided into six chapters and spans the conception of the Czechoslovak foreign policy, based on cooperation with the East, as well as the West; the evolution of the bilateral relations, which were influenced by, inter alia, parliamentary elections in both countries; and the mutual foreign visits. The post-war period is being examined until February 1948 when the change in political regime resulted in deterioration of the bilateral relations between the two countries.

Women at the Court of Emperor Augustus

This work deals with the role of the women in Ancient Rome during the Emperor Augustus' reign. It describes the most important changes in their life styles that happened after the civil wars. The most significant change was connected with the position of women in the Imperial family. The work presents a new phenomena of that time - the foundation of the Imeprial court using the Augustus' wife and sister biographies.

Název diplomové práce Stacionární kola a redukce nadváhy Cíle práce Cílem bylo shrnout informace o obezitě a nadváze, vytvořit, podrobně popsat a následně vyhodnotit redukční program, který byl na základě dotazníkového průzkumu z roku 2005 (viz. má bakalářská práce) sestaven ze tří částí tj. Spinning Programu, pohybové aktivitě ve fitness a úpravě stravovacích zvyklostí klienta. , Soubor a metody Do studie informativního charakteru bylo zařazeno náhodným výběrem 41 žen, průměrný věk byl 36 let. Metodou řízeného rozhovoru byla odebrána osobní, pracovní, farmakologická a gynekologická anamnéza. Před začátkem redukčního programu a po osmi týdnech programu byla stanovena hmotnost (v kg), výška (v cm), obvody prsa - pas - boky (v cm), tloušťka podkožních řas podle Pařízkové a určeno celkové procento podkožního tuku. Z odebraných hodnot byl určen BM! a vypočítány hodnoty MSF, 65% SF max., 75% SF max., 85% SF max. Následně bylo provedeno vyšetření vybraných (ovlivněno odběrem anamnézy) zkrácených a oslabených svalů podle J andy. Metodou regresní analýzy na základě nashromážděných dat byla hodnocena závislost mezi naměřenými hodnotami a porovnány změny naměřených hodnot po ukončení redukčního programu.
