Diblíková, Michaela ; Navrátilová, Jana (referee) ; Omelková, Jiřina (advisor)
The objective of this work was determination of quality of waters made and spent in Moravskoslezský region by methods using Morava a. s laboratory. At interval from 2005 to 2006 was provided by the statistic analysis of accoplishments, that the maximum of pollution is microbial origin firstly by bacteries of Enterobacteriaceae tribe (coliform bacteries a E. coli). Chemical pollution was mainly provided by amonia ionts and by nitrates. It can may be contamination effect of inside or surface flows by fertilizers or septic tank wastes infiltrative.
Analysis of elements in nutrition supplements
Motlová, Tereza ; Navrátilová, Jana (referee) ; Vitoulová, Eva (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with food supplements, mineral elements and their determination in dietary supplements. The aim of this thesis was to elaborate a literature review focused on the food supplements, mineral elements, which are used in food supplements, and methods for determination of mineral elements in nutrition supplements. Forepart of this bachelor treats of food supplements, their basic categories, mineral elements which are contained in nutrition supplements and their effects in case of their oversupply (at high doses) or lack (at low concentrations) in a human body. Other part of this thesis is concerned with options of mineral elements determination in food supplements. Thereinafter, the thesis deals with ways of preparing samples for determination and analytical methods which are used for determination of mineral elements in nutrition supplements. Food supplements are foodstuffs which serve to direct consumption. Supplements differ from casually foodstuffs by high contents of vitamins, mineral elements and others matters which have nutrition and physiological effect. Food supplements are manufactured in order to achieve a diet completion of common user with positive impact on human health.
Probiotic foods
Páterová, Alena ; Navrátilová, Jana (referee) ; Vítová, Eva (advisor)
This bachelor thesis summarizes the knowledge about problematic of probiotics and their positive effects on human health. Probiotics are live microorganisms, which, at application in appropriate quantity as component of food, have health benefit in humans and animals. Probiotics are already an important component of treatment in gastroenterology, in hepatology, at treatment of urogenital system, at prevention and therapy of cancer and mycoses. The best known probiotics are lactic acid bacteria, of which most often used are Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium genera. Lactic acid bacteria because of their unique metabolic characteristics are involved in many fermentation processes of milk, meat and vegetables. We can say, that advances in probiotic bacteria research are beneficial for both the consumers and the producers.
Methods for Elemental Speciation of Arsenic Compounds.
Environmental Impact Assessment by Machinery Products/Processes
Navrátilová, Jana ; Rozehnalová, Jana (referee) ; Krbalová, Maria (advisor)
This Diploma thesis is focused on the assessment of environmental load of a bottle crown cork. The theoretical part describes the current global environmental problems and a chosen environmental legislation, which may also apply to engineering companies. In thesis is included the description of a various methodologies for assessing the environmental load, from which was a method LCA (product life cycle assessment) for solving the problem chosen. The thesis describes the crown cork and its production. In practical part is made the environmental load evaluation of this product. Three variants of the crown cork are selected, whose life cycles are simulated and analysed. The results of the variants are afterwards compared.
Microbiology of wine
Valicová, Markéta ; Navrátilová, Jana (referee) ; Omelková, Jiřina (advisor)
The aim of this work was the investigation of the amount and the composition of microflora during the winemaking of red wine. The study was performed in 3 factories in Velké Pavlovice region, where each of them utilized its own technological approach. According to this, during the period of preliminary fermentation, 3 different technological procedures were used, which differed in application of commercial yeasts and enzymes, and sulphur dioxide. They differed also in the temperature during the period of alcoholic fermentation and the application of commercial bacteria during the period of malolactic fermentation. From the experimental results follows that the application of different technological approaches leads to the differences in the number of both yeast and bacteria viable cells and the total number of microorganism cells in the period of preliminary, alcoholic and malolactic fermentation.
Biomechanical research study of maxillary dental implants
Navrátilová, Jana ; Borák, Libor (referee) ; Marcián, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with a literature search on theme dental implants in maxilla. Maxilla is a specific area because of its bone tissue quality and the amount of space for applying implant. The thesis presents possible complications during implation in maxilla and augmentation opportunities. Further stress-strain analysis of maxilla with dental implant was made. For solving the problem the computational modeling by using Finite Element Method was used.

Life imprisonment is the highest sanction which is regulated in the legal system of the Czech Republic. It is imposed only in case of enumerate crimes and on the conditions stated in the penal code. Life imprisonment has been the highest sanction in our legal system since the year 1990 when it replaced death penalty which is not in accordance with principles of a democratic legal state. Similarly to death penalty, life imprisonment also has many opponents and is connected with many problems and questions.
