Navrátil, Leoš ; Očenášek, Pavel (referee) ; Trchalík, Roman (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to design and implement a central system which will allow to enter, close and register orders from multiple remote clients. This goal will be achieved by abstracting from a trade order in trading platform using virtual order within central system. The suggested system should support buying or selling of desired instrument from multiple clients with defined volume at once in order to diminish broker's influence over the market. In other words, the system will spread out the order to multiple brokers.
Antiphospholipid antibodies and their avidity in selected groups of diseases

The heterogeneity of antiphospholipid antibodies (APA) may be reflected not only in the specificity of different antigens but also in their avidity. APA avidity appears to be clinically useful as a valuable additional characteristic. APAs that are not included in the laboratory criteria for antiphospholipid syndrome (APS), the, so-called non-criteria antibodies, have been detected in patients with seronegative antiphospholipid syndrome. Antiphosphatidylethanolamine (aPE) antibodies represent one type of APA directed against neutral phospholipids, phosphatidylethanolamines. The main objectives of this dissertation were: 1) to compare several modifications of ELISA (enzyme-linked immuno sorbent assay) with different chaotropic reagents for the determination of avidity of anticardiolipin antibodies (ACLA), 2) to investigate the relationship between ACLA IgG avidity and their levels, 3) to evaluate the levels and avidity of aPE as an example of non-criteria antibodies in several groups of patients and compare them with conventional APAs. To compare different methods for determining the avidity of ACLA IgG, we tested a modified ELISA method using different concentrations of urea and sodium chloride as chaotropic reagents and different serum dilutions. We analyzed the levels and avidity of ACLA and aPE...

Title: Biomechanical response of the knee meniscus to the axial loads Work Title: The quantification of the structural changes in deep layer of the knee meniscus using the standardized axial loading Purpose: Due to the internal structure of the knee joint, the ability to characterize and quantify the dynamic response of the meniscal tissue directly in vivo is highly problematic. The main purpose of this study was to investigate the behavior of the meniscus under loading conditions, using parametric MR imaging. Methods: Subjects with no history of knee pain or meniscal problems were included in the study (mean age 27.8 ± 1.3 years). To obtain values of relaxation times T2* in the meniscus, the vTE sequence was used with 10 echoes ranging from 0.8 to 10.1 ms. This has resulted in minimizing the echo time, which is an advantage when differentiating meniscal tissue from surrounding components. First of all, an unloaded limb was scanned and immediately after, the limb loaded half of the person's weight was measured repeatedly in 4 consecutive scans. A custom - made diamagnetic apparatus was developed to simulate stress conditions on the lower limb in a conventional MR scanner. At each 6:10 min measurement, the knee joint was scanned in 64 sections, each image displaying a 1.3 mm section. The two -...

CHARLES UNIVERSITY IN PRAGUE FACULTY OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION AND SPORT ADIPOSE TISSUE DISTRIBUTION BY PRESCHOOL CHILDREN- COMAPARATIVE STUDY ABSTRACT Head of the dissertation: Author: Prof. MUDr. Ivan Dylevský, DrSc. Mgr. Dominika Petrů Prague, 2014 Abstract The dissertation provides information about the distribution of subcutaneous adipose tissue in preschool-aged /5-6 years, n=141/ and younger school-aged children /8- 9 years, n=137/ in the Ústí region. In this review, we describe and evaluate the child's body with anthropometric parameters, skinfold, bioelectrical impedance analysis and selected sample /n=31/ with ultrasonography. We found an increased distribution of adipose tissue in older file with a concentration in the abdominal area and a higher reliability of skinfold than the BIA, considering the ultrasound examination. Key words: subcutaneous fat, skinfold, bioelectrical impedance analysis, ultrasonography

Objective: Hemangioma is mesenchymal benign tumor formed by blood vessels. Anomalies affect up to 10% of children and they are more common in females than in males. The aim of the study was to evaluate hemangioma treatment using four different types of lasers namely Alexandrite, Er: YAG, CO2 and PDL. Background Data: Argon laser was the first to be used for dermatological patients. A variety of different lasers and light sources were useful in treatment of vascular lesions e.g. KTP, Nd: YAG, CO2, PDL, and Er: YAG etc. Materials and Methods: Group of 869 consecutive patients with hemangioma was retrospectively reviewed. Patients were divided into four groups according to the type of laser used: those underwent the therapy with Alexandrite, CO2, Er: YAG, and PDL. All patients were treated in one session without anesthesia application. Ablative systems vaporized tissues until the hemangioma was removed. Non-ablative systems used one shot which destroyed the hemangioma blood vessels. Results: For the treatment efficacy analysis, the following factors were evaluated: therapeutic effect, loss of pigment, and appearance of scar. From results it was evident that the therapeutic effect of all the lasers except Alexandrite was very high - almost 100%. In the CO2 and the Er: YAG laser also high percentage of side...

1 Abstract The aim is to investigate whether the distal femoral cartilage (DFC), Achilles tendon (AT) and plantar fascia (PF) were different between healthy young women wearing high-heel shoes (HHS) (> 5 cm) and flat shoes (< 1.4 cm). Measurements from aforementioned structures were obtained by using ultrasound. There were 910 measurement parameters analyzed in total. There were 34 women in the HHS group (mean age 31.1±6.4 years; BMI 21.6 ± 2.3 kg/m2 ) and 57 women in the control group (mean age; 29.5 ± 7.3 years; BMI 22.5 ± 3.4 kg/m2 ). Wearing HHS resulted in thickening of the right medial DFC (2.00 ± 0.41 mm) and left AT (4.07 ± 0.48 mm) in women wearing HHS compared to flat shoes (1.96 ± 0.35 mm, 3.76 ± 0.66 mm, respectively). This might be interpreted as secondary to chronic overload. PF thicknesses were similar both within and between group. Our findings have shown significant thickening of the right medial DFC and left AT in women wearing HHS and these changes might be interpreted as secondary to chronic overload. Further follow-up studies are definitely awaited to provide a better insight into understanding the musculoskeletal consequences of this "social" issue ever-existing in ladies lives. The secondary aim of the thesis comprises two case reports: 1. the first is describing the usefulness of MSK...
