The reduction of pores in welds

This bachelor thesis dealt with the reduction of pores in the welds. These welds were in pressure stacks which are made by the Bosch company. There are Common Rail diesel injection systems in which are those pressure stacks used in. An analysis was compiled, which consisted of dates of scrap rates in the yeas 2016, and the values in which the media changed in washing machines where the pressure stacks were cleaned of grease. From the following graphs is obvious when the scraps appeared mostly and according to these results there is a proposal to reduce the porosity in the welds.

This bachelor's thesis was written as part of study branch Economics and Process management on the Faculty of Business and Management in Brno. The first part is focused on the theoretical foundations. The second part contains an analysis and assessment of the overall cost of cutting tools for milling aluminum profiles in the company IFE-CR, practical analysis is based on the selected doors profile using the existing cutting tools and the newly deployed advanced cutting tools to reduce overall costs, time savings and productivity of production.

On the analysis of welding seams

The thesis deals with the analysis of the quality of welded joints on the pressure tank, which is produced by Bosch Diesel s.r.o. The main point is to improve the porosity in the weld joint. The theoretical part deals with the analysis of the pressure container and its production process. The practical part deals with the cleaning process before welding and the analysis of residual grease on the welding surfaces after the cleaning process in which two different cleaning media were used. Furthermore, the CT evaluation of welded joints was used to support which washing medium is better, thus providing better degreasing and thus less porosity in the weld joint, for pretreatment of weld surfaces.

The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to design a family house. This is the one-generation family house in the village Veverské Knínice. The building is designed as a new building with basement, ground floor and attic. Wall system consists of a ceramic tile Porotherm. The ceiling construction is from Porotherm Miako. The roof is gable.

Low-carbohydrate diet in diabetes mellitus type 1 treatment

The topic of the diploma thesis is the influence of a low-carbohydrate diet on the treatment of type 1 diabetes mellitus. It is an autoimmune disease for which it is necessary for patients to administer insulin. The selection of suitable sports activities, good health and mental condition and, above all, the adjustment of eating habits also contribute to the successful compensation of diabetes. This work demonstrates a low-carbohydrate diet as one of the possibilities diabetics can eat. The work is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part briefly describes the disease and presents the recommended and a low- carbohydrate diet. The following section also addresses physical activity. It describes the issues of sports for people with diabetes who are on a regular diet, as well as on low-carbohydrate diet. The practical part shows the results of glucose sensors (Free Style Libre, Dexcom G6 and Medtronic), which continuously measure blood sugar levels. In the practical part, eight respondents with type 1 diabetes, who switched the recommended diet for a low-carbohydrate diet, were surveyed in the form of a questionnaire. The aim of the final thesis is to design a café with attic flat for family with four members. Each of these flats have a separate entrance. The café is barrier free. The building is designed as detached house with the form of wooden frame structure with the gable roof. Composition of structures meets the requirements for low energy buildings. For the external constructions is done thermal assessment. The architectural design drawings are supplemented by the necessary detail drawings and manufacturings with technical descriptions. The thesis also includes the comparison of materials used for roofing.

Low carb diet for diabetics with type 1 diabetes

The subject of the bachelor thesis is eating habits of type 1 diabetes patients. Diabetes mellitus type 1 is an autoimmune disease which can be improved vastly by improving dietary habits, mental health and regular sport activities. This thesis focuses principally on low- carbohydrate diet and how it compares to the traditionally recommended diet for the patients. The aim is to determine which of the two above diets is more beneficial for the patients with type 1 diabetes. The paper is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. Theoretical part briefly describes the disease, the advantages and disadvantages of the traditionally recommended diet for type 1 diabetes patients, in their daily life and during performing sport activities. Following is the description of the low- carbohydrate diet and its advantages and disadvantages. Practical part presents a compilation of data collected via anonymous questionnaire. The questionnaire was filled in by diabetes type 1 patients following the traditional and low- carbohydrate diets. Included in the data is the record of continuous measurements of glucose by Dexcom G5 and Enlite sensors.
