Optimization of the indoor climate of an eatery by air conditioning

This thesis is focused on the optimization of the catering service internal environment by air conditioning in Brno. This concept uses a forced ventilation system and air conditioning. The theoretical part addresses the proper air distribution in the catering operation. The experimental part involves the measurement of carbon dioxide, air velocity, relative humidity and air temperature and the temperature of the thermometer ball. Depending on the observed values a technical solution was created in variations and applied in the calculation program.

Ischemia-reperfusion injury in lungs after transplantation and the role of radical oxygen species

Keywords: Lung Tx, EVLP, NHBD, IR injury, ROS, hypercapnia, gender differences This dissertation thesis deals with a very topical issue of the lack of donor organs for lung transplants. As with other organs, the number of patients on waiting lists in terminal stages of their diseases is also constantly rising but there is not an adequate increase in donor organs. We focused our experimental work on the development of research concerning the solution which is most successful in a long-term perspective, i.e. organ transplants from non- heart-beating donors (NHBDs), in an ex vivo lung transplant protocol (EVLP) on an animal model (Wistar rats). This is a method which is clinically established worldwide (in the Czech Republic only experimentally) and is constantly subject to further research. Based on earlier studies, we focused the first experimental part of this work on the potential protective effect of hypercapnic ventilation on ischemia-reperfusion (IR) lung injury in EVLP. The study proved that the hypercapnic ventilation has a protective effect on the generation of reactive oxygen species (ROS) in IR lung injury, but only when used in the period of reperfusion. TITLE: Legal Acts Aimed at the Termination of Employment SUMMARY: The reason why I choose for my thesis the theme Legal Acts Aimed at the Termination of Employment is that I think that this theme is very topic and important. I suppose that almost everybody has experience with termination of employment but not everybody knows the effective legal regulation. The purpose and goal of my thesis is to summarize the effective legal regulation of legal acts aimed at the termination of employment regarding to substantial changes which contains the amendment of Labour Code No. 365/2011 Coll., and to point to various problems and disputed questions which might arise in the practice of law. In the conclusion I try to evaluate the effective legal regulation of legal acts at the termination of employment and to propose some possible changes of this legal regulation. The thesis is consists of seven chapters, introductory and conclusion. Most of them dealing with different types of legal acts aimed at the termination of employment. I pay attention to legal regulation of the delivering of these legal acts and to problems of legal claims concerning the invalid termination of employment as well. Countryside a place for living? (The analysis of rural community case study: Křižánky village)

This diploma thesis is focused on the rural space (rural society) and on the contextual theoretical and practical approaches. The thesis is divided in two main parts - THEORETICAL PRINCIPLES and CASE STUDY. The part THEORETICAL PRINCIPLES is aimed to describe the rural space from historical and present point of view. There are also presented principles of the regional policy and methods of planning in the landscape and in the society (i.e. landscape ecological planning, strategic plannig etc.). These are put in the context of law in force. Description of social/human aspects of a rural community is the goal of the second part. For the part CASE STUDY was Křižánky (the settlement in the region Vysočina) chosen because of large differentiation of the settlement structure. In the past there were three local parts with individual agency that's why the assumption of different views which was not validated eventually. The analysis of rural society is based on sociological research (questionaire) finding out the identification to the region, the quotidian problems of the life, the value preferences, the design of civil amenities and the concept of other development of area. The output of this study is a file of quantitative and qualitative data in relation to human/society-landscape.

New hospitality marketing concepts

The thesis deals with new hospitality marketing concepts and presents some interesting concepts created in the last decade. The aim of this thesis is to analyze concepts, evaluate demand among potential customers for new concepts and design unique hospitality marketing concept. The theoretical part deals with the marketing definition and clarification of what marketing includes. In the analytical part, there are new hospitality marketing concepts described in general, and then the concepts for selected segment -- parents with children. For the purpose of this thesis was created a questionnaire, which examines the demand for new concepts and customer satisfaction or dissatisfaction with the existing hospitality concepts. Results are presented in a separate chapter. The thesis concludes with a new design concept, its description, competitive analysis and marketing mix.

Project: "Use of Natural and Recyclate Materials for Teaching the Technical Work in Primary School"

The theoretic section of the diploma thesis describes the issues related to project teaching, to constructivist approach to teaching, activating methods and to primary technical education. The final section of the theoretic thesis has been focused on crafts connected with natural and recyclable materials. The practical section includes descriptions of sixteen projects. All the technical projects include layouts. The conclusion of the practical section has been devoted to reference verification of the created projects and to evaluation of the realized projects.
