Residential house is located on site sloping to the south. Main access road is from the street ‘Tomečkova’. The place is located in the south-eastern part of the housing estate ‘Lesná’ and it is also close to the group of small houses, called ‘Divišova kolonie’. Building is designed as two separate units connected in one functional block. The intention was to use the sloping land to create a terraced house with gradually diminishing material, for better exposure to sun and the formation of terraces. Proposed white façade, with dark window frames complements object’s gradation. The southern part of the site was designed as a front place with vegetation and access roads for pedestrians. All footpaths around the building are paved.
Architecture in Landscape – Winery

Urbanist concept in the cadastral area of Strachotín village is based on spiral inspirations. The village is located on the banks of Novomlýnské nádrže and offers a wonderful view of Pálava. Therefore, for me, the most powerful motif has become the nature, which is cyclical, but does not repulse. The spiral has been applied to the driveway to a selected location offering the best view and communicating with the village. The function of the winery was supplemented by a small recreational riding complex. The functional solution offers the possibility of visiting, family recreation or organizing corporate events and presentations. When embedding functions, it was considered the most convenient mode of transport that would capture that function. This was further refined by the creation of public spaces that link to the various sites and the whole area. The actual mass solution of objects is inspired by Pálava itself, which is hard but delicate. For my most important objects, it "crystallized" and encouraged them to cover the greenery with the least important visitor.

Mihalco, Jan ; Menšíková, Naděžda (referee) ; Urbášková, Hana (advisor)
The goal of the thesis was to design a small vineyard in the vicinity of the Strachotín town, together with other functions (wine production, tasting, accommodation, sheepfold, cheese production and accommodation for winemakers). The basis for the area design comes from the concept of urban landscape, defining the landscape (function division, usability of the territory, views, …), as well as the placement of main structures (vineyard) and smaller accompanying constructions. The size and function of the vineyard (the core part of the thesis) are based on its requirements to be operational, as well as possibilities given by the location. The architecture strives to respect the location in order to create a harmony with the nature.

The residential building is located in Brno, local part Lesná. The building is designed on a corner place between the streets Dřínová and Tomečkova. The proposal consists of two buildings. Their height arrangement is designed so as to cast a shadow each other or the surrounding buildings. North object exceeds the southern. Mass is based on the efforts to achieve the greatest sunlit room. It is also designed so as to obtain the greatest intimacy on balconies. Balconies also highlight the horizontal breakdown of volume. Residential complex contains thirty different flats floor space and type. The flats are arranged on the axis of north - south, with all habitable rooms are located to the south. In this solution, care was taken and the sunscreening system. It is an outdoor blinds, whose appearance gives the shape of a house. When the proposal was based on the objective of linking objects with the nature of what was to maximize greening space. This helps the inner block, which is used for rest and relaxation. Giacintová, Sylva ; Urbášková,, Hana (referee) ; Menšíková, Naděžda (advisor)
The subject of this thesis is the architectural study of revitalization of a city block and its spatial structure. Selected part of city was solved already in previous project that preceded own thesis. Merger proposal will allow a larger number of different functions within the complex, which will ensure the residents to various forms of housing, services and employment and leisure activities. The studied area is located in the city of Brno-Veveří. Plan shape of the object based on the area in which the three parties connected to the access road. Mass and spatial design respects the surrounding buildings and uses the sidewalks along the whole of the area. The matrix of the object is divided by two axes passing through the object into three blocks linked by a courtyard. This creates a square with a water surface with the possibility of recreation and sitting under the trees. The shape of these three blocks is further formed in several height terraced layers. Do terraces are placed in the atrium and individual residential and office units have large windows and balcony available. This solution brings natural light into the interior while allowing illumination of the courtyard and surrounding objects within the chosen area. This spatial structure is horizontally divided by function. There are proposed underground public garage, arcade with shops, services, administration and housing. The exterior of the building is designed by combining brick facades and white plaster, which works like optically lighter impression of the building.

The main part of the whole area will be the Ponávka river, which will take advantage of the great potential of the watercourse, thus creating a quality public space for recreation. The principles of multiplicity and porosity have been used to design - from the maximum land abandonment, the mass was gradually taken away to create apartment houses, administrative areas, a common parcel with civic amenities and a walkable green roofs.
Architecture in Landscape – Winery
Koťová, Marie ; Menšíková, Naděžda (referee) ; Urbášková, Hana (advisor)
The solved territory is situated in the picturesque part of the South Moravian Region in the village of Strachotín. The local environment invites you to create a pleasant holiday space. That's why I designed a winery object with a holiday accommodation in the vineyard and a water museum with a spiritual space inside the water reservoir. The built-up area is designed on two axis lines. The first axis is the connecting line of the historic wine village of Pouzdřany, with the highest peak of the Pavlovské vrchy. There is a vineyard object on this axis. The second axis comes from the neighboring wine village of Popice and heads to the Nove Mlýny water reservoir in the center and to the church of St. Linharta, which protrudes from the water as a remnant of the flooded village of Mušov. That is why a water museum and a spiritual place to think are on the axis. At the intersection of these two axes there is a lookout tower and a main parking area for visitors.
