Removal of JPEG compression artefacts in image data
Lopata, Jan ; Kučera, Václav (advisor) ; Šroubek, Filip (referee)
This thesis is concerned with the removal of artefacts typical for JPEG im- age compression. First, we describe the mathematical formulation of the JPEG format and the problem of artefact removal. We then formulate the problem as an optimization problem, where the minimized functional is obtained via Bayes' theorem and complex wavelets. We describe proximal operators and algorithms and apply them to the minimization of the given functional. The final algorithm is implemented in MATLAB and tested on several test problems. 1
Spaces of functions with fractional derivatives on interval
Lopata, Jan ; Kaplický, Petr (advisor) ; Hencl, Stanislav (referee)
In literature we can find a variety of ways to introduce Sobolev space W1,1 on bounded and open interval. In this thesis we will put them in context. We will show that completion of set of function with continuous first derivative, the space of functions with weak derivative and space of absolutely continuous functions are isometrically isomorphic. Furthemore, we will demonstrate that the Sobolev space W1,∞ is isometrically isomorphic to space of Lipschitz functions. We will also show several trivial and nontrivial embeddings for Besov spaces. Finnaly, we will examine the question, whether functions from Besov space are, given some parameters, included in set of continuous functions. 1
Development and validation of the new model of thermal conditions of urban environment in fine resolution

The assessment of different scenarios of the city development to air quality and thermal comfort in the areas of street canyons was our main goal inside the project UrbanAdapt. It follows the need for a model which allows to simulate air flows in fine resolution of the order of meter and realistically predict turbulence in the complex terrain of streets and buildings. The LES models comply with such requirements but the review showed that there was no free available LES model which could model the energy exchange in urban environment, i.e. the interaction of energy and air flows including effects of vegetation and different properties of urban surfaces and materials. Thus we decided to extend the existing LES model PALM by a new module USM (Urban Surface Model) which describes the most important energy exchanges in the urban environment. The validation of the model was done against observations obtained by IR camera in the course of heat wave episode in July 2015.
The impact of mobile internet development on e-Tourism
Lopata, Jan ; Vaško, Martin (advisor) ; Valentová, Jana (referee)
The topic of this bachelor thesis is the mobile Internet development and penetration and its subsequent impact on eTourism industry. Firstly, the thesis deals with information and communication technologies with a great attention to the Internet, which had a fundamental importance for eTourism creation. Then it occupies with the mobile Internet, which enabled mTourism formation, and also describes current mobile devices. The next chapter analyzes the contemporary state and trends of mobile Internet in mTourism and its impact on eTourism. Eventually, the thesis predicts the possible future development of the situation and presents the latest technology on the market.

Employee Training In Companies In The Ústecký Region
Lopata, Jan ; Kotýnková, Magdalena (advisor) ; Lapáček, Michal (referee)
This thesis deals with employee training in detail. In the theoretical part, it looks at education as an investment in human capital, from which in the ideal case both the employee and employer benefit. Next, it covers education as a tool of employment and the growth of labour productivity. The analytical part examines companies, including their approach to human resource development and more specifically scrutinizes which type of education the companies demand most and in which professions. The results from the statistical survey, done among various companies in the Ústecký Region, form the most important basis for the analytical part of this work. A questionnaire has been done to find out in which professions and for which positions would the companies welcome the expansion of the education supply. The thesis focuses on the possibilities of employee training offered both by the employment bureaus and private sphere and on drawing the money from European Union Funds. Lastly, the analytical part connects the actual need for further education with the real drawing of European Union Funds allocated for education in the Ústecký Region.
