Name Writing and Reading of Preschool Age Children
Kubíková, Adéla ; Viktorová, Ida (advisor) ; Špačková, Klára (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of writing and reading personal names in the preschool period. The personal name is very attractive for the children, and therefore they usually want to learn to write this particular name first. Thanks to the signature, the children gradually become acquainted with the system of writing and the entire culture of writing. In its theoretical part, it briefly describes the individual development characteristics of a preschool child. Further on, it deals with the development of writing in the preschool age and the development of abilities and skills needed to learn to write and read. The focus of the paper lies in the practical part. It is the author's own empirical research of a heterogenic group of children aged 3-6 years. Children had several tasks, such as sign up and then re-read their signature or recognize their name in a short text. The aim of the research was to find out the relationship of the preschool children to their signature. Attention was focused both on the graphic form of the signature, and on the children's notion of the social importance and usefulness of signature. The bachelor thesis also reflects on whether it is more difficult for the children to write their name or to read it.
Text comprehension in primary school students in term of oral reading and listening comprehension
Kubíková, Adéla ; Špačková, Klára (referee)
The presented rigorous thesis is based on my diploma thesis that aimed to map the levels of comprehension of the narrative text for students of the fourth grade of elementary school. The thesis deals with the comprehension of the text in terms of listening and oral reading. The rigorous thesis is traditionally divided into a theoretical and empirical part. The first part of the thesis presents the theoretical background of research issues of understanding the read and listened text with a focus on comparing these skills from the perspective of Czech and foreign studies. Attention is also focused on the text properties affecting reading comprehension, as well as the diagnostics of reading and assumptions that are reflected in the reader's understanding. The focus of this thesis is its empirical part, which compares the conclusions of its own research with the results of the three-year research project GAČR - Reading comprehension - typical development and its risk. The rigorous work responds to the conclusions of the above-mentioned research project, which came to different conclusions than international research studies. The main goal of the presented thesis is to clarify the cause of this difference. One of the considered factors is the different level of the comprehension texts. The research...
Text comprehension in primary school students - oral reading vs listening comprehension
Kubíková, Adéla ; Špačková, Klára (advisor) ; Kucharská, Anna (referee)
The main aim of the thesis are the mapping the level of understanding narrative text for student of fifth grade primary school with the typical development of reading skills. The thesis deal with the relationship between listening comprehension and reading comprehension. The thesis is traditionally divided into a theoretical and empirical part. The first part of the thesis prestnts the theoretical background research problems of comprehension the text. Attention is focused mainly on the domain of listening comprehension and reading comprehension, including a summary of the current state of knowledge about the relationship between both skills in foreign and Czech studies, as well as the diagnostics of reading and prerequisites that are reflected on the comprehensions the text. In the practical part are conclusions expected on its own research, which was attended by 40 students taught by the analytic-synthetic metod of reading, are compared with the results of the three year research project GAČR - Reading complrehension - typical development and its risks, where attended 59 students of fifth grade primary school taught by the same reading method. In addition to comprehension level will be monitored by level of basic language skills.

Activation of collimating system of linear accelerator through photon radiation and its impact on the doses received by the staff.
KUBÍKOVÁ, Adéla
The diploma thesis on the topic "Activation of Collimating System of Linear Accelerator through Photon Radiation and its Impact on the Doses Received by the Staff" is divided into two parts, a theoretical and a practical part. The introductory theoretical part is devoted to the basic information about ionizing radiation. What are the types of ionizing radiation, its characteristics, properties and sources of ionizing radiation. Furthermore, there are mentioned direct and indirect interactions of ionizing radiation, a brief description of charged particle accelerators, collimator systems and radioisotope irradiation devices. Another part deals with radiation protection, basic legislation, methods and principles of radiation protection, personal dosimetry and medical supervision of radiation workers. Literary sources, available internet links and valid legal regulations were used for the work. In the practical part, a number of measurements were carried out to measure and to analyse the doses of secondary radiation of the linear accelerator collimator system for different photon beam energies, depending on time, distance from source, position of radiologic assistant around the table when working with the patient, as well as sizes of irradiated field. The aim of the work was to find out how large the doses of secondary radiation are, although measurable, but their values are not sufficient to be detected by personal dosimeters of radiological assistants. Confirm the hypothesis that the doses from the secondary radiation of the linear accelerator collimator system are so low that the dose power does not exceed 0.031 mGy/hr. The results obtained from various measurements are processed into transparent tables and graphically displayed. Based on the results of the measurements, the hypotheses were confirmed.
Welfare state's crisis: France
Kubíková, Adéla ; Kotýnková, Magdalena (advisor) ; Kubelková, Karina (referee)
The purpose of my thesis is to explain the issue of the welfare state's crisis. To describe its current situation and impacts in modern world of capitalism. I have chosen France as a case study. Social disorders are common and becoming stronger and the sustainability of the social state causes considerable difficulties. In the first part of my thesis I describe the development of the modern welfare state, its basic principals and individual theoretical approaches criticizing the concept. In the second part I illustrate characteristic features of French welfare state: interests groups, primary values of the society and its specifics, situation on labor market, entrepreneurial environment and political progress. The thesis shows that France makes efforts to reform its welfare state. However, suggested solutions are only partial and even deepen social problems in France.
