The study of magnetorheological shaft seal
Pavlíček, Dušan ; Dočkal, Aleš (referee) ; Kubík, Michal (advisor)
This thesis deals with the experimental study of magnetorheological shaft seal. The purpose of this diploma thesis is to describe the operating parameters of rotational magnetoreological shaft seal. In thesis, the effects of magnetic field and shaft speed on the pressure resistance and braking torque are described. Operating parameters were measured by an experimental device. Research has shown that the magnetoreological seal is characterized by a high pressure resistant. Disadvantages are the high braking torque and leakage of carrier oil from the magnetorheological fluid. These problems have been solved by a new design of magnetic circuit, that has been identified as a magnetoreological gradient pinch seal (MRGPS).
Innovation of chip conveyor for cutting machine
Kočica, Martin ; Kubík, Michal (referee) ; Brandejs, Jan (advisor)
The aim of this project is the design modification of existing outdated chip conveyor for the lathe SPT 32 NC, owned by Slovácké strojírny OJSC factory 1 Strojírny Uherský Brod. The work is divided into acquaintance with the problem of chip conveyor and the requirements that are placed on the conveyor. The thesis summarizes possible design solutions, of which is chosen the best design solution. Followed by calculations dimensions, choice of materials and semifinished products for creating drawings. The primary input for the work is existing conveyor frame. All dimensions and functional members were chosen with regard to the parameters of the conveyor frame, which will be modified at least. The output is a complete drawing documentation and accompanying report.
Design for waste gas cleaning
Kubík, Michal ; Lisá, Hana (referee) ; Baláš, Marek (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with impurities in waste gases and syngas. Those gases usually have low heating value and contain impurities which are the main issue of those gas fuels. Waste gases and syngas can replace natural gas after right gas treatment. First part is theoretical. It starts with description of biomass and gasification technology. Then the waste gases are described – their origin and usual composition. Next part is dedicated to impurities and is followed by impurities treatment technologies. For removing of almost every type of impurity wet scrubber can be used which is described in detail in following part. There are other types of gas cleaning technologies, so they are described too but not in such detail as wet scrubber. In second part the wet scrubber is designed, and its function is tested by cleaning syngas from fluidized-bed gasifier called Biofluid. During gas cleaning in wet scrubber the influence of water temperature on efficiency of tar removal is examined.
Logical Network Games for Android
Kubík, Michal ; Škoda, Petr (referee) ; Kouřil, Jan (advisor)
The main goal of this bachelor's thesis was the implementation of application for playing logical games. This work deals with Android platform and the possibilities of creation and deployment of applications for this platform. The known algorithms that are used for implementation of an artificial intelligence are described in the work. The ways of wireless communication between mobile device are also mentioned. The graphical user interface of application, solution of an artificial inteligence and the network communication are described in the implementation part of this work.
Magnetorheological shock absorber with short response time for train bogie
Šebesta, Karel ; Špalek, Petr (referee) ; Kubík, Michal (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the design of a magnetorheological damper with a short response time of the damping force for the bogie of a rail vehicle. The largest component, which slows down the response, is the eddy currents generated in the piston group of the MR damper. A rapid onset of damping force is achieved by using a shape approach in magnetic circuit design. The shape approach increases the distance that the eddy currents must travel, and therefore it helps to reduce them. The shape approach is realized by grooving the core and the shell of the MR damper. The proposed fast version of the MR damper is measured on a hydraulic pulsator and its results show a sufficient time response of the damping force. This response does not exceed 8 ms for the primary onset of the damping force. The new fast design of the MR damper combines the greatest advantages of the technology and enables to meet new requirements for damping elements in the rolling stock chassis.
The study of the MR fluid for space applications
Macejka, Andrej ; Macháček, Ondřej (referee) ; Kubík, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is concerned with study of off-state rheological properties of magnetorhelogical (MR) fluid. The purpose of this thesis is to define measurement metodology and evaluation inherent rhelogical properties of MR fluids in wide temperature range.
Design of Testing Bench for Determination of the Operating Parameters of the Magnetic Shaft Sealing
Kubík, Michal ; Čížek, Petr (referee) ; Roupec, Jakub (advisor)
This thesis deals with design of testing stand for operating parameters magnetic seal. In this thesis was done analysis of construction magnetic circuit and analysis of operating parameters. This work contains FEM analysis of magnetic circuit and experimental tune up. The results of this analysis will be used for design magnetic circuit and geometric sensitivity analysis in test stand.
Hydraulic shock absorbers of train bogie
Odehnal, Lukáš ; Jeniš, Filip (referee) ; Kubík, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor thesis mainly deals with design solutions of adaptive dampers used on railway vehicle bogies. The first part gives a general overview of the topic. The main part discusses current designs of adaptive dampers that have already been tested. Final part of the thesis compares the designs including their determining parameters in order to obtain a large enough sample to contribute to the development of a new, electronically controlled damper at the VUT in Brno.
Design of semiactive suspension for mountain terrain bike
Mráz, Kryštof ; Kubík, Michal (referee) ; Strecker, Zbyněk (advisor)
This Bachelor Thesis is focused to design semiactive suspension of mountain bike using MR damper. In research part of thesis is summarised knowledge about passive and semiactive suspension of mountain bikes and about MR dampers. Behaviour of suspended front fork was simulated using virtual dynamic model which was created in graphic environment MATLAB Simulink. Semiactive algorithms Skyhook and modified Groundhook and for comparison also passive settings are simulated. According to results of these simulations is designed semiactive suspension with MR damper which has effect to stabilising contact force of front wheel and therefore increases safety of rider.
Pneumobile dynamometer design
Fritscher, Matyáš ; Kubík, Michal (referee) ; Jeniš, Filip (advisor)
This bachelor thesis concerns design of measuring station with a dynamometer for a racing pneumobile developed by a student team. The aim of this device is to simplify the process of tuning of the vehicle and to make it more precise. At the beginning of the work, there is a research of current commercial solutions of dynamometer stations. Then, while choosing a suitable brake, there is an evaluation of the possibility of repurposing an old brake, given by the university for this project. After verifying that it meets the necessary requirements, there are several concept solutions presented. For the selected concept, with a specific design for this vehicle, there is a complete design solution including safety analysis of selected nodes.
