Mountain hotel

The topic of this diploma thesis is design of new Mountain hotel in the cadastral area of city Michlova Huť, part of city Vimperk. The hotel is designed as a monolithic reinforced concrete wall structures based strip foundations. The ground plan is designed as a rectangular object, to which is attached a smaller rectangle providing the main entrance to the building. Load-bearing structure of pitched roof is designed by a reinforced concrete structure. The roof is solved as a double-layer with air gap for ventilation. The total capacity of hotel are approximately 70 guest and 15 workers.

Family House

The goal of this Bachelor thesis is the design and project documentation for a residential house. It is designed as a single-family detached, three-story house with a partial basement and a developed attic. The foundation system of the house is supported by MONOLITHIC foundation grade-beams. The support system of the partial basement is designed with the use of concrete blocks. The wall system of the rest of the stories uses the POROTHERM masonry system. Ceiling structures are comprised of POROTHERM ceramic-concrete members with MIAKO brick inserts. The designed proposes a two-layer ventilated flat roof. The building is situated on a level ground.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to explain the Assessment Centre recruiting metod, wich has recently become very popular. Comprehensive perspective over the candidates' skills, thein in-depth analysis and the oportunity to compare candidates in real time and on the same place are advantages appreciated the most in practise. On the other hand, AC is more time demanging when it dones to preparation and coordination, and assessors'expertise and preparedness. However, AC is not always the right choice. There are situations when application of this method would be useless luxury as to time and money. Moreover, unprofessional AC could have a contradictory impact - not only does it not help to find a proper candidate, but it can damage the company's reputation and its image on the labour market. The role of assessors and the importance of their thorough and due preparation are non-neglictible when organizing AC. The assessor team composition and their due and professional motivation assure the maximum exploitation of AC. It is also right choice, composition of tasks and their due timing that are vital for AC performance. Should a personnel specialist organise AC for the first time or should they lack experience, the right step stall be choosing a duality professional firm that assists with the AC organization...

The social-economic polarization in Czech Republic

This thesis main topic is the social-economic polarization in Czech Republic and its development process within past two decades. The main aim is to define growth poles with positive social-economic development and peripheric areas with stagnating or negative development. Consequently the secondary aim of this thesis is to confirm or disprove hypothesis resulting from Myrdal's theory of cumulative causation: "Growth poles grow faster over time and conversly peripheric areas decline further over years." In next step growing and peripheric regions are described and the possible causes of develepment within this areas are interpreted. Leading theories of regional development focusing on social-economic growth polarization are described in the theoretical part. The emphasis is on core -- periphery theories with main focus on theory of cummulative causation by Gunnar Myrdal.

KOZÁKOVÁ, Lucie. The evaluation of accredited projects on developement of the catchment area of municipality Vacov. Prague: Faculty of Economics, University of Economics, Prague, 2012. 40 pages. Bachelor thesis. This bachelor thesis deals with the influence of selected subsidy financed projects in municipality Vacov and thein impact on catchment area of municipality Vacov. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to determine whether implemented and Europian Union financed projects have had an influence on catchment area of municipality Vacov. In the first part, this thesis is focused on defining of basic theoretical and methodological concepts and thoeries dealing with catchment area definition followed by socioeconomical characteric of municipality. Second part of this is focused on implemented projects. It specifies selection kriteria of selection two projects, describes and analyzes them. The first project Reconstruction of medical care infrastructure in Vacov region was devided into three parts in ordet to simplify research -- doctor's offices, pharmacy and emergency service. Each of these parts has been explored by analysis of acquired data and by survey/inquiry. Through the implementation of these methods positive impact on the mucipality's catchment area has beeb demonstrated. As second project named Reconstruction of public spaces to multipurpose facility for human resources development has been selected. From comparison of analysed data results the fact, that this project does not fullfill its purpose and has no impact on the size on catchment area of municipality Vacov. The catchment area of municipality Vacov has been enlarged just in medical services area.
