Production KAIZEN Application

Theoretical part of this diploma thesis describe Kaizen method and parts of this method, which was developed in Japan after the Second World War. One part of this method is the 3MU concept, that includes definition of absences which influence all companies. One concept of the 3MU is “Muda”, who indicate waste. Practical part is interesting in wastes in sphere of productivity at one of the production department of the Bosch Diesel Ltd. in Jihlava. Individual operations of this department are considered in light of possibility introduction of more-machine operation and the checking of necessity of some machines. As a result is time data evaluation by REFA method and check of possibility introduction of more-machine operation with modification of working processes, calculation of industrial production capacity of some machines and the definition of buffer stocks. This modification of working processes, number of machines and the definition of buffer stocks needs change of layout of production department. At the conclusion there are calculated final costs and savings for implementation of this project.

The master’s thesis is focused on management issues within the organization. It describes and evaluates selected management approaches to capture individual thoughts and consequently creates a comprehensive management philosophy that is applicable across a wide range of specialization. It also deals with the non-governmental non-profit sector, the introduction of a process approach and improvement through the Deming PDCA cycle.

ECG measurement using BIOPAC system

The main aim of this bachelor project is to acquainted with BIOPAC system and with the theory of electrocardiography. After investigation of possibilities to retrieve analog and digital data as well as measurement of ECG signal was developed circuit enable to convert analog signals to digital and then export digital signal via USB to the PC. Developed circuit is based on integrated circuits ATmega8 a FT232RL. Visual Studio was used to create application for registration and calculation power spectrum ECG signal in C#.

3D dental scanner

The general aim of my master´s thesis is to study the actual principles of 3D scanning, the anatomy of human teeth, use of 3D scanning in dentistry and other medical fields. Another part of this thesis is about software and hardware design of 3D scanning system, which enable us to scan dental casts. This design is using webcam, projector and turntable. The principle of scanning is based on the activ triangulation. The output of 3D scanner is a horde of spots, which are used for reconstruction of a surface. The reconstructed surface is finally saved as .stl format.

Ditopic ligand based on 1,4,7-triazacyclononane

The radioisotopes 64 Cu and 68 Ga are used in radiomedicine and imaging (PET) due to their properties. The metal ion must be complexed with a suitable ligand forming a stable and kinetically inert complex. The aim of this bachelor thesis was to synthesize polydentate ligand based on the TACN macrocycle, followed by the preparation of its gallium (III) and copper (II) complexes. Based on the dependence of absorbance A on the wavelength λ, d-d transitions in the VIS (λ = 440 - 800 nm) region and CT transitions with transitions on the aromatic cycle in the UV region (λ = 220 - 380 nm) for the [Cu(L)] were also observed. The [Cu(L)] complex was studied by UV-VIS titration. The complex [Ga(L)] was also synthesized, but its further characterization and study of coordination properties were not carried out. The thesis researches the ability of use of Python programming language in the field of high school education and uses qualitative and quantitative methods of research and finds Python suitable. The thesis also brings theoretical analysis of the Python language, including practical exams in the form of sample programs. It researchs even other programming languages used in education and their suitability for this purpose and compares them with Python programming language. It also finds two most common used programming languages at high schools, which are Pascal / Object Pascal and Java.

Python - a Programming Language for Algorithms and Programming Education

Práce představuje programovací jazyk Python jako nástroj pro výuku algoritmizace a programování. Pomocí průzkumu zkoumá vhodnost Pythonu pro tento účel. I na jeho základě konstatuje, že ho pro něj je možné použít. Popisuje jeho historii, charakteristiky a specifika vůči jiným jazykům. Vypočítává nástroje, editory a vývojová prostředí, které je s ním možné použít ve výuce, a konstatuje, že jich existuje dostatek. Obsahuje ukázky a příklady, které demonstrují jeho možná použití.
