Renaissance pedagogical conceptions in the work of François Rabelais and Michel de Montaigne

The bachelor thesis Renaissance pedagogical conceptions in the work of François Rabelais and Michel de Montaigne is dedicated to pedagogical ideas in the works of two significant French writers of the 16th century - François Rabelais, from his work is specifically analysed the novel Gargantua and Pantagurel, and Michel de Montaigne, from his work are analysed The Essays. The period of the medieval scholasticism as an educational method is characterised in the beginning of the bachelor thesis. Its critical picture in analysed works is described in individual analysis of the pedagogical ideas of both mentioned authors. Moreover, the pedagogical conceptions of François Rabelais and Michel de Montaigne that we can consider as conceptions of the Renaissance are primarily analysed. In conclusion both analysed authors are compared and main common and different points of their pedagogical conceptions are described.
Greek Media System

This master's thesis deals with the Greek media system and its specifics, describes the media landscape of Greece and its transformation influenced by the economic crisis. The theoretical part is devoted to the definition of the media system and to the description of the development of its research with special focus on the publication Four theories of the press written by Fred Siebert, Theodor Peterson and Wilbur Schram and the Comparing Media Systems written by Daniel C. Hallin and Paolo Mancini. In the practical part, the historical development of the Greek media market is described, followed by a description of the contemporary media landscape of Greece. The thesis focuses on print media, radio broadcasting, television broadcasting and digital media including social networks. The ownership structures of the Greek media are also characterized. The master's thesis also deals with the legislative framework of Greek media and self-regulation principles. In the thesis the impact of the economic crisis on the Greek media market is analyzed and the future development of the Greek media is aniticipated. Shool broadcasting as a tool for the developement of the media leteracy

The bachelor thesis School broadcasting as a tool for the developement of the media literacy is dedicated to the creation of the school radio in the context of the media literacy. In particular, the bachelor thesis deals with the role of media production activities in the media education and their expected outputs, with an emphasis on the school radio. In the theoretical part of the thesis is first of all characterised the consolidation of the media education in the Czech eduacational system with the focus on the concept learning by doing. Subsequently, the thesis is dedicated to the school radio, its history and the technical and personal aspect of its operation. Besides, it contemplates the problem of the methodical support for teachers and school radio creators. Moreover, a brief description of chosen foreign projects concerning methodical support is brought up. The practical part of the thesis consists the data obtained from interviews with redactions of school radios in schools in the Czech republic. It is mainly focused on the practical side of the operation of the school radio and on competences that students can gain by participating on the creation of the school radio. In the end, these competences and experiences are compared with expected outputs of production activities in media education.
