HAM Station Log Book for Linux
Kaluža, Jan ; Růžička, Richard (referee) ; Šimek, Václav (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor's thesis is to design and implement an amateur radio logbook software for a GNU/Linux operating system. After the short introduction there are described existent logbook applications together with analysis of their advantages and disadvantages. Based on this analysis the logbook application is designed and implemented. Finally, there is a summary and discussion of possibilities for further improvements.
Advanced Simulator of MSP430 Microcontrollers
Kaluža, Jan ; Bidlo, Michal (referee) ; Vašíček, Zdeněk (advisor)
The goal of this master's thesis is to provide an introduction to MSP430 microcontrollers and to design a simulator of these microcontrollers, focusing on easy implementation of extensions using peripherals. After a short introduction, the MSP430 microcontrollers are briefly described, including their internal peripherals and the formats used to store the binary executable code. The thesis continues with a  description of discrete event simulation using the DEVS formalism. Based on previous chapters, the new simulator (consisting of a simulation core, graphical user interface and library for MSP430 microcontroller simulation)  is designed and implemented. The implementation is tested by comparison with real microcontroller and in the end of the thesis, there is a summary and evaluation of the implemented simulator.
Infinite products
Zavadilová, Barbora ; Seidler, Jan (advisor) ; Kaluža, Jan (referee)
We study theory of infinite products, summarize basic definitions, terms and theorems, which we apply to some elementary examples in this work. Moreover we concern with convergence of products with real factors. We also prove required and sufficient condition of convergence or absolute convergence of infinite product. The main objective of the work is derivation of sine product formula, where we also prove the theorem of exchanging limit and infinite product. These results we use for deduction cosine product formula. 1
