Effect of alternative agents on controlled degradation of polypropylene
Kadlecová, Zuzana ; Figalla, Silvestr (referee) ; Bílek, Vlastimil (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis focuses on the effect of degradation agents in controlled rheology polypropylene and its efficiency. That was evaluated on several types of polypropylene with different molecular weight, the strength of stabilization and content of degradation reagents (organic peroxide and nitroxide Irgatec® CR 76). Melt flow rate, rheometry, and molecular weight distribution methods were applied. Results of each method for unstabilized, stabilized polypropylene and polypropylene containing degradation agent were compared. It was determined, that higher polymer chain degradation efficiency is provided by organic peroxide, lower by nitroxide. The molecular weight distribution of polypropylene was much narrower with peroxide than with nitroxide even though it should have been conversely according to published data. The molecular weight distribution of polypropylene (Mw/Mn) was much narrower with nitroxide than with peroxide at all process temperatures.

MILENA JESENSKÁ AND HER RELATIONSHIP TO THE PRAGUE GERMAN AND CZECH CULTURE
KADLECOVÁ, Zuzana
Translator and journalist Milena Jesenská was one of woman personalities, who represented Czechoslovak Republic in interwar period and who helped creating the profile of newly rising society. Especially in western part of world Milena was known as "Kafka´s friend". But she wrote important articles for Prague newspaper - Národní listy, Přítomnost, ... In year 1939 she stayed in contact with German-Jewish refugies, Czech pilots and soldiers, to whom she helped on their escapes. She also participated on resistance by publishing illegal magazine V boj. Finally she was transported to concentrating camp Ravensbruck, where she died in year 1944.
Political Parties in Great Britain with the Focus on Liberal Democrats
Kadlecová, Zuzana ; Stracený, Josef (advisor) ; Lánský, Ondřej (referee)
The diploma thesis deals with the analysis of British party system and its special features, with the focus on the main political parties in Great Britain, their history, their development and the current position within the system. The thesis employs methods of analysis of specialized sources in the English language mainly. The aim of the first part is to provide theoretical knowledge to establish background for better understanding the rest of the thesis. The following part of the thesis deals with the main political parties in Great Britain, their development, programs and their current position in the system. The most important part of the thesis is the last one, which focuses on Liberal Democratic Party, its beginnings, development and puts emphasis on the two last elections in 2010 and 2015. There is an attempt to provide an opinion on what were the reasons of the election results depending on election program, electorate and other specifications.
Comparism of Czech and British political Systems
Kadlecová, Zuzana ; Stracený, Josef (advisor) ; Havlík, Radomír (referee)
The Bachelor's Thesis deals with the theme of comparism of the political systems of the Czech Republic and United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland with specialization to the executive power. The thesis employs methods of description, analysis and comparism, on the basis of the study of the professional politological and constitutional literature both in Czech and English language. The thesis is devided into four main parts. The first part deals with theoretical definitor of the terms state power and its division in a legal and democratic state, term of political system and describes typology of political systém of the western democracies. The second part is opened with a short analysis of the political system of the Czech Republic and than is analysed the executive power, its elements, constitution of its organization and powers. The third part firstly focuses on a short description of the political system of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and than describes and analyses the executive power from the point of view of its elements, its powers and the constitution of its organization. The last part of the Bachelor's Thesis deals with the comparism of the political systems, the executive powers, its composition, powers of its elements and the constitution of its organization.
Characterization of novel stationary phase in hydrophilic interaction liquid chromatography
Kadlecová, Zuzana ; Kalíková, Květa (advisor) ; Kozlík, Petr (referee)
The aim of this diploma thesis is detailed characterization of new diol-based column, i.e. Torus DIOL designed for supercritical fluid chromatography, in hydrophilic interaction liquid chromatography. This stationary phase contains diol ligands bonded on BEH ("bridged ethylene hybrid") particles. The BEH sorbent is more stable at high pH, pressure and temperature than conventional silica sorbents. Five fluorinated pesticides were successfully separated on Torus DIOL column. Retention mechanism and effect of different parameters were tested by analysis of small polar compounds (nucleobases, uridine and its derivatives, acidic, neutral and basic compounds). Both partitioning of analytes between an aqueous layer deposited on the surface of the stationary phase and the mobile phase and adsorption of analytes on the stationary phase participate in the retention mechanism. Effect of the mobile phase aqueous part pH was investigated with the following buffering solutions: formic acid (pH = 2.1), 10mM ammonium acetate (pH = 4.7 and pH = 9.5). Obtained results showed that aqueous part pH significantly affects retention of acidic compounds according to their pKA values. Retention of all tested analytes on Torus DIOL column slightly increased with increasing ionic strength of mobile phase. The retention...

Determination of chlorophenols in water by HPLC
Kadlecová, Zuzana ; Tesařová, Eva (advisor) ; Sobotníková, Jana (referee)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of chlorophenols in waters. The theoretical part summarises the information about their characteristics, toxicity, sources and appearance in the environment. Further, there is described the fate of chlorophenols - bioaccumulation, transformation and ways of degradation in the environment. The emphasis is placed on methods for determination of these compounds in water samples, especially by the HPLC method with previous concentration by solid-phase extraction. The experimental part deals with separation of certain isomers by high performance liquid chromatography in reverse mode. In this bachelor's thesis, limits of detection of these isomers under optimized conditions of analysis were determined. Found conditions were applied to the analysis of a water sample taken in Ústí nad Labem.
