Psychosocial and organizational factors in nursing in selected non-governmental bed care institution.

The bachelor thesis "Psychosocial and Organizational Factors in Nursing in Selected Non- Governmental Bed Care Institutions" focuses on how nurses in non-state health care institutions perceive and evaluate the working environment and the conditions in which they provide nursing care. A positive assessment of the work environment has a significant impact on the quality and safety of the care provided. The work has a common structure composed of two parts, theoretical and empirical. The theoretical part provides a brief overview of the psychosocial and organizational factors that affect nursing work. Attention is paid not only to mental and physical burden, but also to organizational factors. The empirical part includes self-examination and presentation of results. The aim was to evaluate the results of our own investigation and to compare it with the results of previously conducted studies in the United States of America, Australia, Denmark and Portugal. Nurse and her choice of care for her own child

Bachelor thesis "Nurse and her choice of care for the owen child" deals with the question of work - life balance. The work has a usual structure composed of two parts, theoretical and empirical. The theoretical part focuses on a topics that could influence the choice of child care and brings the basic knowledge on the established work topic by Czech analysis and foreign literky and magazíne informatik sources. The main points discussed in it include the profession of a nurse, role, family, maternity and the opportunities that lead to harmonize like work and family, areas that can influence the choice of child care. The empirici part has a traditional structure and describes the own investigation that has taken place in Motol Universtity Hospital within the Gynecological Obstretrics Clinic. At the beginning the objectives and working hypotheses related to the given topic, the methodology, the owen questionnaire surfy and the characteristics of the studied sample were set. In the end, a discussion was conducted with previously conducted studies on simile topics and concluded with a final summary of the work. The abstract The aim of the bachelor thesis "Man as a Provider of Nursing Care", whether the men of the general nurse, health care and health care assistant, are concerned with gender stereotypes. The bachelor thesis is divided into the theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical part briefly describes the history of the beginnings of nursing, where the role of the carer and caregiver was not as exceptional as today. The following section describes gender stereotypes that concern gender in general and men who work as nurses. The empirical part contains the results of the questionnaire survey, which was carried out by the men of providers - nursing care in the Motol University Hospital.
Impact of having a child with autism on health and quality of life

This bachelor dissertation with the name "Impact of having a child with autism on health and quality of life" is divided into the theoretical and the empirical part. The theoretical part contains 3 mains chapters which give a brief overview of basic knowlege in autism and quality of life.This part of the bachelor dissertation is based on already published sources related to this subject. The empirical part describes the methodology and organization of the survey which was realized with structured questionnaire SQUALA and other supplementary questions. The survey itself provided information on assessing the importance and assessment of the satisfaction of individual areas of quality of life of parents caring for an autistic child. At the end of the thesis, there are summarized the most important findings resulting from the survey and evaluated objectives of the dissertation.
The professional opinion of nurses regarding the Czech healthcare system

Bachelor thesis of "Opinion about health system nurses in the Czech Republic" addresses the current issues related to the changes in the Organization and management of health care in the Czech Republic. The aim of the work was to bring the view of nurses on the existing health care system. The sisters belong to the largest group of health care workers and their views on the health care system are important for the provision of quality health care. In the theoretical part of the thesis is devoted to the attention of the health care system and its constituents (the patient, provider, and the payer) and a description of their roles, the role of the sisters, the role of the patient, health care provider roles and role of payer of health care. The empirical part contains its own investigation and presentation of the results. One of the objectives was to also compare the results with the results of own investigations previously realized researches of Sociological Institute AV.
Violence and aggression in healthcare professionals with a focus on workplace of acute psychiatric care

The aim of the bachelor thesis was to provide basic information on aggressiveness at selected workplaces of Bohnice Psychiatric Hospital. In the framework of this work, a questionnaire was submitted to 194 respondents performing general nurses or health care professions, acute care departments and subsequent psychiatric, anti-toxic and gerontopsychiatric care. The investigation took place during December 2016 and January 2017. The main results showed that respondents from PN Bohnice encounter high frequencies with aggressive patients, i.e. daily or weekly in 60% of cases. Most respondents (92%) encountered verbal and physical aggression. The most common kind of physical aggression is the destruction of property (52%), the assault of a health care professional (40%) and self-harm (39%). The most common type of aggressor is male (50%) and female (44%), less frequent visits and the patient's family (3%). For men, physical aggression is higher than for women by more than 13%. According to medical professionals, the most common cause of aggression is the disease (67%), fear and anxiety (32%), and the third is environment (27%). Physicians deal with conflicting situations most often by appointment (97%), and secondly in cooperation with other health workers, i.e. they call service (55%) or doctor (44%)....
The safety and quality of health services provided in the field of perioperative care

Bachelor thesis "The safety and quality of health services in Perioperative Care" deals with quality control of nursing care in selected inpatient health care facilities as well as prevention and management of potential risks associated with the provision of nursing care. The empirical part of the thesis focuses on the awareness of perioperative nurses regarding the use of and adherence to standards, recommended work practices and quality control of nursing care in operating theaters. Custom survey was carried out at the University Hospital Motol in Prague 5 and simultaneously at the General University Hospital in Prague 2. The obtained data were evaluated using statistics CZ 12 and are presented in tables and figures. In the final discussion the information obtained were compared with the results of previously completed studies, and recommendations were set for improving the quality and safety of nursing care in operating theaters.
Quality of Life in Patiens with Rosacea

The aim of my work is to judge the quality of life of the patients with rosacea. I also mean to create an overview on the condition and the quality of life of its sufferers from the newest resources. This thesis also proposes to find out the level of impact attachments in adulthood and the rearing methods of the parents in the formative years up to the age of 16 can have on the quality of life and subsequent health of the patients. To do this, I shall prepare and assign a questionnaire and consequently compare and interpret the discovered information with a group of peaple not afflicted with the diseases.

I chose the soft skills, which are important for a good nurse's output according to me. In my opinion many people cant handle it as they are supposed to. And that is what I would like to find out in my task. In the preface of the teoretic part I am explaining why I am interested in this topic. I am defyning there the purpose of my work and stated hypothesses. Next I am following up the explanation of the concept of the soft skills, which three of them I am going to analyze in detail. Quality of life of patients after liver transplantation

Bachelor thesis assesses the quality of life after liver transplantation in patients with diagnoses of hepatitis C and B, primary biliary cirrhosis and primary sclerosing cholangitis and alcoholic cirrhosis. These diagnoses are the most frequent indication for liver transplantation. This work is divided into two parts. The theoretical part is elaborated into chapter containing the anatomy and physiology of the liver, liver transplantation and quality of life. In the empirical part are presented results of the survey applied in patients after liver transplantation, where the aim was to find out how it has changed the lives of patients after liver transplantation. Subjective perception of quality of life was measured using a questionnaire SQUALA. Further in the thesis were used questionnaires to determine the recurrence of alcohol abuse, ECR questionnaire to determine the attachment anxiety and avoidance of patient, and the last patient questionnaire PBI focused on parenting style, patient bond to mother and father. Results of the research are presented in tables and graphs, then completely summarized in the discussion and conclusion of thesis.
