Internetbanking in the Czech republic

The goal of my work is to analyze the Czech market of internet banking. I'd like to show it's weak and strong points. In my work you will also be able to find comparision between accounts. My work will define the Czech market of internet banking not only as a whole, but I gave some space to each part of internet banking services. Internet banking is still an evolving area in the scope of electronic banking. In my work I'll mention trends and regularities in current system. In the next part the security methods, which the banks offer for internetbanking protection, will be described with detailed description. Some space will also be dedicated to part, in which I describe what every client has to secure so he can use internet banking applications. To compare how banking through internet works abroad, I'll focus on an internet account of some big foreign bank, particularly British Barclay's. This data will serve as a comparision for the advancement of the Czech internet banking.
Analysis of the Acquisition Marteting Strategy of mBank

This paper examines the consumer decision process at the financial market. Combining the findings from the fields of marketing, finance, psychology, economy, sociology and consumer behaviour I present a complex model of the financial services' consumer decision process. In the second part of the paper I use the model on the case of the entry of a new bank into a Czech retail banking market -- mBank (2007). Using the model I then explain the growth in the bank's client base.
Credit expansion through credit cards

The thesis is concerning household indebtedness through credit cards, funding of these credits and how the consumer is affected. The focus is mainly on the current situation in the United States, nevertheless some observations from the former Korean credit card crisis are pointed out. The thesis describes the development of the credit card debt and identifies reasons and consequences of the expansion. The role of the state as setting conditions of the market and solving possible market failure is also mentioned.
Comparision of spot and option market developement during a financial crisis

This graduation thesis analyses the spot and forward markets; the focus is on stock and stock-call options for two German companies -- Deutsche Bank and Commerzbank. Price movement and evaluation/devaluation for the financial instrument are measured over a specific period of time. The closing chapter compares both markets using three criteria -- leverage effect, analysis of volume and traded contracts, and how volatility affects the call option price.
Customer lending´s in the Czech Republic.

This bachelor thesis focuses on customer lending's questions in the Czech Republic. The first part describes incentives to get in debt and legal characteristics of customer lending (contract essentials, types of loans, annual percentage rate of costs). Main part is dedicated to separate providers of customer lending on the Czech market both in theoretic description and particular loans'calculation. In conclusion it considers the trend of indebtedness in Czech Republic.
European market integration and poject SEPA

The thesis concerns with a system of payments integration in the European Union. Primarily It's focused on a progress of aprropriate leagal rules that sets up a cross-border system of payments and project SEPA (Single Euro Payments Area), which is possible to describe as a self-adjusting endeavour of private financial institutions to unify specifications for national payments and cross-border payments in the EU and to create a single area for payments in the euro. Except common project characterization is thesis aimed at progress of a standardized SEPA instruments and their influence on european payments market subjects after final phase of implementation.
Analysis of Morgan Stanley during the financial crisis

The main task of the diploma thesis is an analysis of financial performance and position of Morgan Stanley during several successive periods before and during the subprime financial crisis. Through the analysis of trends in key items, it also demonstrates strong cyclicality of financial performance and position of the investment bank. The first chapter deals with history and key divisions of the Company. The following chapter generally discusses selected phenomena, which, as per the author's view, significantly influenced industry-wide record-breaking performance during the period before the subprime crisis, and which substantially determined Morgan Stanley's risk profile and performance's corrections later during the Crisis. The core part of the Thesis is conceived as an analysis of financial performance and position of Morgan Stanley during the selected periods. The analysis of pre-crisis period until 2006 in the third chapter demonstrates growth of activities lying behind the unprecedented profitability of the Institution. The following fourth chapter analyzes deteriorating financial performance during the subprime crisis and indicates crucial strategy changes, implemented by the Company at the end of 2008. Effects of the strategic changes and challenges of the future development of the Institution are discussed in the last chapter. Additionally, the Thesis includes annexes, which further deal with selected topics and their general relations to investments banks and two annexes which compare Morgan Stanley with its nearest peers during specific periods.

The bachelor work concerns with the development of loan products of building societies in Czech Republic. The first part describes the historical development of building saving and its regularization. Furthermore I explain basic terms of building saving and there is also closely introduced the market of building saving with its current supply of loan products. The next part mentions the statistical development of last ten years and the comparison with mortgage. The thesis is finished with the evaluation of influence of financial crisis.
