The aim of the work was to process facts from Czech and foreign sources about the reproduction of mares. On the basis of the information given in literary sources, monitoring was carried out including monitoring the manifestations and course of estrus, selected characteristics of mares such as BCS, age, current use of individual mares or possible hormonal stimulation. 62 mares in the age range from 3 to 24 years were included in the monitoring. The monitored mares were of various breeds, mares with a sports or hobby career were included, but also mares whose use was primarily for breeding. The aim of this work was to assess the influence of individual selected factors on the subsequent pregnancy of mares and to assess the most suitable combination of characteristics and manifestations of estrus in mares.

Delimitation of catchment areas for elementary schools in Czechia: case study of cities Děčín and Teplice

This bachelor thesis focuses on the problem of creating school catchment areas in Czechia. The aim is to present and discuss the topic of defining the school catchment areas from legal, geographical and sociological view. School catchment areas should guarantee acceptance to school near home for all children in Czechia. However in some cases they can lead to segregation of ethnical or social minorities. Cities Děčín and Teplice have been chosen as case studies. Four school decrees from past 20 years have been selected from each city and maps have been created based on these. In the decrees, possible errors were found likely caused by poor wording or inadvertently introduced by the officials. The work also includes online maps that have been created to simplify the detection of errors in city decrees. My research shows that school catchment areas are created in a similar ways in both cities, and the boundaries of catchment areas are predominantly the boundaries of urban areas, traffic communications, or natural barriers. The aim is to present and discuss the strategies used by the municipalities for defining the school catchment areas on selected examples. Cities Děčín and Teplice have been chosen as case studies. Four school decrees have been selected from each city and maps have been created based on these. My research shows that school catchment areas are created in a similar ways in both cities, and the boundaries of catchment areas are predominantly the boundaries of urban areas, traffic communications, or natural barriers. In the decrees, possible errors were found likely caused by poor wording or inadvertently introduced by the officials. The work also includes maps that have been created to simplify the detection of errors in city decrees. In both Děčín and Teplice, one school has been selected with respect to the risk of segregation of children from the perspective of national minorities. Field survey has been made on 23.4 2019. The investigation has shown that at one of the selected schools, segregation is starting to happen. The thesis focuses on the practical aspects of securing bank receivables and establishment of a pledge over the receivables. The importance is given to the judgements of the Supreme Court of the Czech Republic. The core of the thesis is observing the different conclusions of the legal theory, judgments of the Supreme Court of the Czech Republic, academicians and specialists.
