Planning and Analysis swimmers training in the basic stage
Willner, Jiří ; Chrzanowská, Babeta (advisor) ; Horčic, Josef (referee)
Title: Planning and Analysis swimmers training in the basic stage Objectives: The aim of the study was to experimentally applied training plan for swimmers in the basic stage of sports training. At the same time through achieved performance at selected competitions verify the effectiveness and validity of the implemented plan. Methods: In this work we used the method of experimental applications training plan. The method of indirect observation of the diagnostic techniques in swimming flume. The method of direct observation techniques for the implementation of training. Furthermore, for the diagnosis of swimming techniques was designed and used tables for qualitative analysis of swimming styles. Comparison method were compared to selected indicators of general training and the achieved performance swimmers. And lastly, was also used the method Conconi test for the detection of physiological parameters in stress tests. Results: We found that the training program was effective. Has improved the technical level swimmers and achieved performance improvement in swimming competitions. The test subjects were also monitored parameters VO2 max. In during the training plan was found at one swimmer improvement, and at the second swimmer decrease. Keywords: swimming training, basic stage training, swimming technique,...
Comparison of heart rate and external performance at selected field tests for determining maximum heart rate for bicyclists and triathletes when cycling.
Podrazil, Tomáš ; Horčic, Josef (advisor) ; Kovářová, Lenka (referee)
Title: Comparison of the heart rate values and external performance is based on selected field tests determining maximal heart rate in cycling of cyclist and triathletes Objectives: Objective of thesis is to determine the values of maximal heart rate and external performance from selected field tests in cycling and compare them with one another. Methods: Five cyclist were measured in field tests and acquired results were used to create the graphs and tables. Data were obtained by cycling performance meter Powertap and cycle computer Garmin Edge 500. For the analysis of the measured data was used software Garmin Connect. Results: Based on the results of thesis it can be stated, that the measurement turn out as we expected. The difference of maximal heart rate between test-A and test-B is differed by 3-5 beats, which is not decisive. Both tests can be used for determine maximal heart rate. These tests are suitable for measuring the performance of athletes. Maximal heart rate is not in present an important indicator for training of fitness of individual. For training I would suggest to take a test of lactate curve in the laboratory. Keywords: cycling, external performance, heart rate, terrain test, Powertap
Evaluation of strain demands during spinning of chosen groups of fitness centre clients
Tuháčková, Eva ; Horčic, Josef (advisor) ; Kovářová, Lenka (referee)
UNIVERZITA KARLOVA V PRAZE Fakulta tSlesne vychovy a sportu SURNAME AND NAME OF THE AUTHOR: Eva Tuhackova FIELED OF STUDY: Physical Education and Sport SUPERVISOR: PaedDr. Josef Horcic, PhD. DISSERTATION TITLE Evaluation of strain demands during spinning of chosen groups of fitness centre clients. GOALS The goal of this dissertation is the evaluation of strain demands during spinning, of chosen groups of fitness centre clients and the evaluation of fitness changes after a three-month interventional training program. METHOD This dissertation has been compiled in the form of experimental quantitative research. Research has been done in standard conditions with minimizing external influence (spinning hall). The chosen groups are clients from Marianske Lazne and Prague, who regularly visit spinning lessons 1 -2 times a week. RESULTS While evaluating the results of the measured group during the three-month interventional training, fitness of the individual measured groups showed recorded increases as well as decreases. Decreasing average cardiac rate, consequently increasing body fitness, was recorded for men. On the contrary for women, increasing average cardiac rate was recorded and consequently decreasing body fitness. Decreasing maximum pulse rate was recorded during measured spinning lessons for all groups...
The characteristics of the triathlete participating in the series Championship of the Czech Republic in triatlonu and Czech Cup Age groups in the triathlon
Kubáčová, Jana ; Kovářová, Lenka (advisor) ; Horčic, Josef (referee)
Title: The characteristics of the triathlete participating in series Championship of the Czech Republic in triathlon and Czech Cup Age groups in the triathlon Objectives: The aim of this work is to characterize a triathlete participating two highest competitions in the Czech Republic in triathlon on the basis of chosen determinants of sport performance. Methods: In our thesis we used a made survey on the basis of former literature analysis. For data processing regarding answers on the survey it was used a statistical program SPSS PASW Statistics 18. The thesis was process by relevant tasks, i.e. relevant literature research, survey making on the basis of found areas in the theoretical part, distributing of the survey, data processing of the received answers and final processing of the received data. Research file was created by triathletes participating in series Championship of the Czech Republic in triathlon and Czech Cup Age groups in the triathlon which are stated in global results of these two competitions. Results: The results of the thesis confirmed conclusions of theoretical part whereas on chosen determinants outside factors of sport performance which were used for data gaining. Keywords: questionnaire, running, cycling, sports performance factors, swimming
Evaluation of force presumptions for swimming triathletes from Czech team in training cycle 2009-2010
Švejda, Roman ; Horčic, Josef (advisor) ; Kovářová, Lenka (referee)
Title: Evaluation of force presumptions for swimming triathletes from Czech team in training cycle 2010-2011 Intention of work: Evaluation of specific force presumptions for swimming and ability maximal utilit force efficiency in long time stress, wide spektrum of triatlonist from beginners to elite czech competitors. For evaluation we used 3 indikators: 1. average Power Output - PO - [W] 2. average power output on kg body weight - PO.kg-1 - [W.kg-1 ] 3. complete work - W - [Nm] Method: Testing on swim trainer Biokinetic by tests which simulated free style strokes and butterfly strokes. 10 strokes by free style and butterfly styl, 50 and 100 strokes by butterfly style. Results: Some people lives in mistake about their directionality. Someone think, that he is better for long distance, and oposit eis true. Lot of people, in our test, made more work [Nm] in free style strokes, than butterfly strokes. More offen people made more work [Nm] in butterfly strokes. Our people swim butterfly just especialy and that's the reason, why they have more force in crowl. Keywords: Biokinetic, triathlon, swimming, testing, swim force.
