Bachelor thesis focuses on hedging interest rate risk by the use financial derivatives. The theoretical part characterizes financial derivatives, their division and description of each type of derivatives. In an analytical part is monitored development of interest rates in the Czech Republic, followed is analyzed the offer of Czech banks and their subsequent comparison. In the last part is suggested recommendations for company management.
Assessing Selected Indicators Using Statistical Methods

Master's thesis deals with the assessment of selected financial indicators of the company through a financial analysis and statistical methods, on the basis of which then evaluates the current situation of the company. The thesis is divided into three parts. The theoretical part contains the issues necessary for the analytical part. The analytical part is focused on the analysis of selected indicators and the subsequent application of statistical methods to predict their future development and to detect dependencies between the indexes. The last part formulates possible solutions to problems caused by financial indicators that do not reach the required values.
Effectiveness and impact of advertisments using framing

This bachelor thesis focuses on effectiveness and impact of advertisements using framing. The first chapter of the theoretical part is devoted to the concept of framing and its effect from the perspective of psychology and sociology. Thereafter, is the framing effect explained in terms of prospect theory and other types of framing are described. Followed by regulatory focus theory and regulatory fit. The last chapters of the theoretical section discuss framing in advertising, persuasion in advertising, and various cognitive biases related to the framing effect are also described. The practical part continues with the quantitative research that is primarily exploring the effectiveness of the advertisements that are using framing. Furthermore, the experiment is trying to find a relation between the regulatory focus of the participants and the regulatory focus of the advertising message. In this case, the research findings are supporting the hypotheses and verifying the higher persuasiveness of advertisements using negative goal framing.
