Music player based on ARM

This thesis is dedicated to the principles of a MP3 audio format decoding on available develpoment kits powered by ARM processors. It compares kit MCB2300 with LPC2378 microcontroller and kit Raspberry Pi with Debian operation system. The comparsion is focused on their suitability for MP3 decoder implementation. A complete design of support hardware modules, which complement the missing hardware of development kits is described in detail. Thesis includes the realization of an implementation of a MP3 decoder with additional visual effects in a form of an attached RGB LED strip developed on a Raspberry Pi development kit.

Master's thesis is focused on examination of financial health of a company from 2006-2008 with the usage of elementary methods of financial analysis. The aim of the submitted thesis is detection causes of financial standing of the company and according to gained knowledge, appropriate improving arrangements, which improve a financial position of company.

Image interpolation

In this thesis, basics, attributes and usage of image interpolation are described. Multiple methods of interpolation are described in detail. Theoretical knowledge of interpolation are practicaly demonstrated in Matlab environment on selected methods of interpolation including my own implementation of quadratic and linear interpolation. Tests were run on different types of images, mostly on biomedicine ones. Single interpolations are also applied on histogram. Results are compered to each other and figure to the graphs.

The use of new media in marketing with the company Vodafone as an example.

The thesis analyse the use of new media in marketing communication, most of all with regard to the changes which had been taking place during last few decades. The development of information technologies a digitalisation brings about not only new communication channels, but it also causes changes in usage of the present ones. This requires not only the users but also the advetisers to adapt, at least if they are not willing to loose their customers. The means of communication in the world of new media is very specific and differs mainly in need of interaction and closer contact with the customer. On one side, this is a huge advantege since it is now possible to get immediate feedback, but on the other side, there is also the danger of being publicly criticized. The changes in media world also diminish the difference between media producers and consumers by enabling anyone connected to the Internet to create and share content. I chose company Vodafone as an example, because in my opinion, when communicating in the world of new media, it is quite succesful. Brexit and the role of British media

The master's thesis deals with analysis of foreign professional articles focused on Brexit referendum in 2016. Focus is on review of each article - what type of analysis was used in the article, aim and motivation to do that analysis, and their comparison. In the end of this thesis quantitative analysis of Czech on-line articles writing about Brexit referendum is provided.

Fundamental analysis of easyJet's stock

This bachelor thesis deals with fundamental analysis of a share of British airline company easyJet. The first chapter is based on estimating the influence of selected macroeconomic variables on the changes of the stock price. The second chapter, which is dedicated to sectoral analysis, deals with the regulation of the aviation industry and easyJet's position on the domestic and foreign markets. The last chapter is devoted to corporate analysis, which calculates the internal value of the share using several methods and presents an appropriate investment recommendation.

Analysis of the sector of credit unions

The sector of credit unions has undergone a remarkable evolution. The situation had seemingly changed after the period of instability in the late 1990's but the bankruptcy of Unibon, Metropolitní spořitelní družstvo and WPB Capital proved that the credit unions still pose a potential threat for financial market. In 2014, a Novel of the Savings and Credit Cooperatives Law, which will probably lead to change of the structure of these financial institutions´ markets, was passed. Furthermore, another limitation on credit unions, related e.g. to their balance sheet total is going to be imposed 1.1.2018. According to the fact that in general they aim to either eliminate or dispose of this type of financial institution, the amount of these subjects is likely to decrease, as a consequence of transformation into a bank or termination of business. This bachelor thesis analyses contemporary condition of the sector of credit unions and intends to predict their presumable development, which leads to three possible eventualities.
