Development and maintenance of addictive behaviour in terms of psychoanalysis
Tomášková, Eva ; Kalina, Kamil (advisor) ; Hajný, Martin (referee)
In the area of addictive behaviour, psychoanalytic approaches are very often criticized or completely neglected. Nevertheless they could significantly contribute to the treatment of addictions, especially in its final stage. Their main contribution is in searching for origins and causes of the addiction. In the therapy they could help to reveal inner conflicts and traumas, and to facilitate their understanding and acceptance. The main aim of my thesis is to illustrate the contribution of psychoanalytic approaches in the treatment of addiction. Furthermore an effort is made to point out, that if the psychotherapy is enriched by psychoanalysis, and further criteria are fulfilled, the treatment can acquire a deeper meaning, and the probability of its efficiency increases. The thesis is divided into theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical part presents an overview of psychoanalytical theories of the origin and development of addiction. It describes some features of the addicted people from the psychoanalytical point of view and the part is completed by necessary critical evaluation. The empirical part contains a case study of a woman who is addicted to alcohol. On her case I try to illustrate the psychoanalytical views of on the rise and development of addictive behaviour. Data are obtained from...

Baránková, Hana ; Havrdová, Zuzana (advisor) ; Hajný, Martin (referee)
Reflection of difficulties in supervisory relationship This study examines the manner how supervisors and supervisees reflect relationship difficulties in context of a supervisory work. The aim was to examine what is described as relationship difficulties, how they evaluate them and what meaning they assing to it. In connection with difficulties in relationship in this study I'm concerned also with the question, what is the perception of the supervisory relationship from the view of supervisors and supervisees and what characteristic of this relationship they consider to be important and what they expect from it. The topic is established on Bowlby's attachment theory. It is based on two concepts of the theory - a function of a safe haven and a function of a secure base. These functions are related to a creation of relationship and to relationship difficulties. This study focuses also on the issue if there's a connecting link between the way of reflection of relationship difficulties and the supervisory relationship by supervisors and supervisees and mentioned concepts of attachment theory. There's used a qualitative research method, data were obtained by semi-structured interviews with supervisors and supervisees. The results show three main fields in which supervisors and supervisees reflect...

Vačkářová, Zuzana ; Havrdová, Zuzana (advisor) ; Hajný, Martin (referee)
Professional supervision realized in terms of tripartite contract by trained supervisor is a part of care improvement in helping professions. Although pastoral supervision is manifesting many similarities to supervision in helping professions, a difference can be found in the emphasis on its spiritual and theological richness. There is no concept of such perceived supervision in the Czech Republic. This led to the need for mapping the situation of supervision provided to healthcare chaplains in the Czech Republic and for inquiries as to whether the provided supervision comply with the parameters of professional supervision. Spiritually centered holistic pastoral care, which is presented in their work, comes from biblical sources. Thus, spiritual dimension of human existence is firmly founded in the prior understanding of the healthcare chaplain (pastoral worker) and communication is realized in a specific language within specific discourse. Supervision provided to healthcare chaplains should, therefore, react to these circumstances and reflect them. The second phase of the research is concerned with the possible specifics and demands on the supervisor which lead from it. Key words: supervision, pastoral supervision, clinical pastoral care, spirituality, religiosity, spiritually centered holistic...

Kabíček, Jakub ; Havrdová, Zuzana (advisor) ; Hajný, Martin (referee)
My thesis is about supervision in therapeutic communities for drug abusers in the Czech Republic. In the first, theoretical part, there are described concepts the supervision and the therapeutic community. It shows a developement of TC's in the world and also in the Czech Republic and describes the history of TC's for drug abusers after 1989. Part of thesis is about clients of TC's and also about what is therapeutic community therapeutic. It's giving point also to quality standards, that are for these organisations and their supervision. The second part, empirical, maps and describes supervision praxis in TC's in the Czech Republic. Answers the questions: who is providing supervision in TC's(external, internal), with whom is supervision provided (team, individual, group), what is it about (case, program, focused on employees for example team, management), how is it provided (regular, occasional, crisis). After all it is about the developement of supervision in TC's after 1989 and reasons, that in TC's leads to change of supervisor. And at least to conflicts of roles, that accompanied (accompanies?) supervision in TC's.

Radimecký, Josef ; Šotolová, Eva (advisor) ; Stejskal, Bohumil (referee) ; Hajný, Martin (referee)
Use of mind-altering substances may result in an array of adverse - especially health and social - consequences not only for drug users but also for their close persons. Help to solve drug use-related problems is provided by various drug services. These however primarily focus on drug users and in the best case perceive their relatives as a significant source of support in order to achieve a change in dependent behaviour of drug consumers. The vast majority of drug services in past didn't take into account the fact that relatives might suffer due to drug use of their family member too, and thus that they might also need specific professional help. The aim of dissertation is 1) to answer the question of whether an involvement of relatives in the process of drug users treatment in therapeutic community might be of benefit not only for residents but also for their close persons, and 2) to introduce a comprehensive model of work with relatives in therapeutic community which has been verified within the inquiry. This has been carried out with the use of predominantly qualitative grounded theory approach. The main data sources were drug users, their relatives, professionals, literature and participative observation of author. Findings suggest that involvement of relatives into the process of treatment of drug...

Horáková, Dominika ; Hajný, Martin (referee) ; Kalina, Kamil (advisor)
This bachelor thesis titled "Family in pathogenesis of drug addiction (comparative case study)" is aimed to the key family factors and circumstances in family, which might have had an impact on development of addiction behavior. The thesis consists of theoretical and practical parts (with three case stories), and of discussion. In the theoretic chapters, the topic of family in general as well as family in pathogenesis of addiction is presented by using knowledge in accessible literature. In the practical part, I am trying to point out the key family factors and circumstances in families of selected clients, which might have had an impact on development of addiction behavior. This is given in two steps: (1) analysis of each case story, (2) comparative analysis of all three case stories according to most important characteristics derived from the theoretical part. At the end, conclusions are presented and discussed. There has been shown that no characteristics is relevant for all three case stories, but there are many features common for case stories No.1 and No.2, and for No. 2 and No.3.
