Design of elevator for pallets
Hájek, Lukáš ; Winkler, Tomáš (referee) ; Škopán, Miroslav (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on the construction design of elevator for pallets with car seats weighing 200 kg. This device is proposed for vertical transport of the load between two working positions which are separated by 6m. Part of the pallet hoist is a roller conveyor attached on a lifting frame. The roller conveyor allows loading and unloading pallets from the fixed roller conveyors in the lower and upper station. There are the functional calculations of important parts, strength control of traction belt and shaft of driving pulley drum. By FEM (Finite Element Method) is detected stress distribution of the lifting frame. Parts of the annex are the manufacturing drawings of the lifting frame, shaft of driving drum, the driving station and drawing of the whole assembly vertical conveyor. Furthermore, the timing diagram function for one cycle, risk analysis and FMEA.
Left-wing terrorism: the case of the Red Brigades in Italy and the Red Army Faction in Germany
Budilová, Michaela ; Charvát, Jan (advisor) ; Hájek, Lukáš (referee)
This diploma thesis deals with the phenomenon of left-wing terrorism in Italy and West Germany, two Western democracies where terrorism has emerged more than anywhere else in Europe. Terrorist organizations, including the Red Brigades (RB) in Italy and the Red Army Faction (RAF) in West Germany, emerged in an environment of political and social conflict and radicalized protests against the state establishment. These organisations were chosen for this diploma thesis because of their prominent status, their longevity and the influence they have gained in the field of left-wing terrorism. In its comparative analysis, the thesis attempts to simultaneously interweave three different levels of analysis: the socio-political contexts of Italy and West Germany (macro-level), a focus on the two terrorist groups and their organizational dynamics (meso-level), and the ideology and motivations of the terrorists (micro-level). The aim of this thesis is to explore and gain insight into the RB and RAF organisations in terms of ideology and to describe the factors behind the rise and fall of these terrorist organisations.
Volodymyr Zelensky's election campaign from 2019 as a response to the demands of Ukrainian society
Shvets, Oleksii ; Mlejnek, Josef (advisor) ; Hájek, Lukáš (referee)
This thesis examines the election campaign of Volodymyr Zelensky, specifically the question of whether Volodymyr Zelensky's brand was created during the election campaign before the presidential election in Ukraine in 2019. If such a brand was created, then whether Volodymyr Zelensky's success in the elections was the result of marketing techniques related to branding only, or whether candidate Zelensky's successful brand was not only the result of competent application of marketing techniques, but also the result of reflection of the public's requests on key socio-political issues. In the theoretical chapter we study the theory of branding in politics and highlight the main characteristics that a modern political brand should possess. In the second chapter, we present the key socio-political issues that worried the public in the period leading up to the elections and directly influenced the campaign. In the next chapter we will present several key factors and events that cannot be categorized as problematic phenomena, but which will also help to understand the reasons for Zelensky's electoral victory. In the next chapter we will examine Volodymyr Zelensky's election campaign and answer the question if Zelensky's political brand was created. In the last chapter we will compare the campaign rhetoric...
Mayor as a Black Peter? Case Study of the Moravian-Silesian Region
Čajánková, Aneta ; Jüptner, Petr (advisor) ; Hájek, Lukáš (referee)
The bachelor's thesis is a case study that deals with the influence of factors that influence interest in the post of mayor of small municipalities in the Moravian-Silesian Region. This thesis describes Czech local politics, which is very specific due to its large number of small municipalities in the Czech Republic. The local politics of the Czech Republic is extensively researched, thanks to many important authors who have devoted themselves, for example, to local councils, rural municipalities, or the creation of coalitions or parties of representatives. Research usually comes to the conclusion that there is no interest in the post of mayor in small municipalities, yet no work published so far describes the exact reasons that influence this interest. Since this phenomenon of interest has not yet been specifically described, however, the circumstances confirming lack of interest are very specific, this work is based on qualitative research. The aim of the thesis is to find out what affects the mayor's interest in the post of mayor. To fulfill the aim of the work, he uses case studies and conducts seven semi-structured interviews with mayors of small municipalities in the Moravian-Silesian Region. Based on semi-structured interviews, the work tries to find out whether the five pre-created tested...
Comparative study of the development of the system of financing political parties in the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic in the years 1993 - 2021
Práce nejprve představuje a shrnuje stav současného poznání, následně separátně popisuje vývoj v České republice a Slovenské republice a na závěr komparuje v čase oba systémy. Výsledkem komparace je zjištění, že systémy většinu času blízce konvergovali, ale následně se vlivem české reformy v roce 2016 více diferenciovali, přičemž český systém je možno považovat za přísněji regulovaný.

This bachelor thesis deals with the degree of fulfilment of verifiable promises from the election programmes presented to the Czech citizens in the 2017 elections to the Chamber of Deputies. The aim of the thesis is to analyse the rate of fulfilment of promises by all political parties that entered the parliament in 2017. The analysis examines the rate of fulfilment of promises in the last completed electoral period, i.e. between 2018-2021, when the second government of Andrej Babiš was in power. The aim of the paper is to present the results of the analysis to the readers and to find out the different rates of fulfillment of the coalition and opposition parties. The results of the analysis have shown that in the Czech environment, coalition parties do not fulfil fundamentally more promises than opposition parties. The highest rate of fulfilment of promises was shown for the ANO party, which held the prime minister's seat at the time of the mandate and fulfilled 42% of the testable promises. However, the opposition party, Starostové a nezávislí (the Mayors and Independents), had the second highest rate of promise fulfilment with 41 %. The coalition fulfilled 41% of the promises and the opposition fulfilled 28% of the promises overall, with the results affected by the SPD's zero fulfilment rate. The...
