Comparison of performance tests results determined during kayak spiroergometry with achieved kayak paddling performance
Štěrba, Jan ; Bílý, Milan (advisor) ; Doktor, Martin (referee)
- 6 - Abstract Title: Comparison of performance tests results determined during kayak spiroergometry with achieved kayak paddling performance. Objectives: The aim of the study was to determine relationships between functional parameters values found during kayak spiroergometry and sport performance at 1000 meters distance, and how are these relationships going to change based on training period. Methods: To determine statistical dependence between sport performance at 1000 meters distance and choosen factors of sport performance, the correlation research was used - as a variable-dependent value the final result of sport performance at 1000 meters distance was used, as a variable-independent amounts functional parameters values found during kayak spiroergometry were used. To discover the statistical dependence methods of Pearson's correlation coefficient and regression analysis were used. Results: General level of kayak-athletes from testing file indicated by functional parameters values and demonstrated by kayak spiroergometry performance depends on kayak- athlete's level of sport performance at 1000 meters distance in prepared-training period only, when importance for general condition is emphasized. We did not discover the same phenomenon based on pre-racing period testing results. Sport performance at...
Analysis of coherence of sports diplomacy in comparison with Hungary
Ebertová, Tereza ; Doktor, Martin (advisor) ; Janák, Vladimír (referee)
Title: Analysis of coherence of sports diplomacy in the Czech Republic in comparison with Hungary. Objectives: The aim of the bachelor's thesis is based on the information obtained and analyzes to find out how institutions in the Czech Republic and Hungary use the organization of large sporting events to present in the field of sports diplomacy. Methods: The bachelor's thesis used qualitative methods, which were used to obtain the necessary data. It was both an analysis of secondary data, which was performed from internal sources, which were provided for the purposes of this work, and unstructured interviews, which were used to communicate with selected members of the Czech and Hungarian Olympic Committees. All these methods were finally completed and the collected data were applied to the comparative analysis. Results: The results of the work prove the high degree of presentation of the state brand through the organization of an international sporting event in both cases of EYOF. At the same time, the results show that Hungary was able to use more elements than the Czech Republic to present its brand. However, in none of the examined cases was the maximum use of all aspects included in the comparison for the presentation of the state brand. Keywords: sport diplomacy, nation branding, partaker,...
Comparative analysis of addirect forward stroke perfomed on single canoe in flatwater canoeing and in paddle pool
Součková, Lenka ; Bačáková, Radka (advisor) ; Doktor, Martin (referee)
Tittle: Comparative analysis of addirect forward stroke perfomed on single canoe in flatwater canoeing and in paddle pool. Goals: The goals of study is to describe and compaq the movement pattern of a forvard paddle stroke on a canoe in flatwater and in the paddling pool. Methods: The work has mixed empirical-theoretical character, The study is a descriptive individual study. Muscle activity was measured using surface electromyography with synchronized video recording (kinematic analysis). Results: We found differences in muscles involved in the direct paddle stroke forward on canoe and paddle pool. The main differences are, that on the water the boat goes to the paddle and in the paddle pool, we push the water around us.In the first case the athlete push the boat towards to the paddle. However in the paddle pool the athlete just pulls paddle through the water. Another important difference is, that in the paddle pool we do not develop the "water feeling" and in the paddle pool does not have to keep balance. Canoeist is on solid grand all the time. For the winter season, we can recommend a paddle pool as a specific strengthening, but the paddling or ride on water on water does not replace it. Key words: Flatwater canoeing, paddle pool, elektromyography, forward stroke, canoe

Janáčik, Tomáš ; Doktor, Martin (advisor) ; Dvořák, František (referee)
Title: Analysis of the sporting achievements of young Czech athletes at the European Olympic Youth Festivals (EYOF) and Youth Olympic Games (YOG) following their participation and sports results at Olympics Objectives: The aim of this diploma thesis is to process an overview of the participation and sports results of young Czech athletes at the EYOF and YOG, followed by analysis and statistical evaluation how these athletes got on in competitions of the Olympic Games Methods: Because of the specific topic, structure of the whole thesis and used methods had to be customized to our needs. First two subsections of the analytical part are kind of descriptive-analytic research, therefore it is theoretical work. Other subsections contain statistical-analysis and explanation of the obtained data. This part of the work is based on a secondary analysis of data, and thus it is a research method of qualitative research. Results: In the first part of analytic section we processed on overview of the participation of young athletes and their sport results at the EYOF and YOG between the years 1991 and 2015. Based on this overview we searched for athletes who participated both, EYOG or YOG and Olympics. After that we processed this results as well. Analysis showed us, that the most successful are athletes in...
Comparative analysis of addirect forward stroke performed on single canoe in flatwater canoeing.
Součková, Lenka ; Bačáková, Radka (advisor) ; Doktor, Martin (referee)
Tittle: Comparative analysis of addirect forward stroke performed on single canoe in flatwater canoeing. Goals: The goals of study is to describe and compare the movement pattern of a forvard paddle stroke on a canoe in flatwater and in the paddling pool (flum). Methods: The work has mixed empirical-theoretical character, The study is a descriptive individual study. Muscle activity was measured using surface electromyography with synchronized video recording (kinematic analysis). Results: We found differences in the sequence of muscle activity in the direct paddle stroke on a canoe. The main sequential difference were found with these muscles: musculus triceps brachii R, m. biceps brachii L, m. external abdominal oblique L. Key words: Flatwater canoeing, C1 women, flum, elektromyography, forward stroke

Optimalisation of logistic processes in food industry
Doktor, Martin ; Jirsák, Petr (advisor) ; Mervart, Michal (referee)
The aim of my final thesis is to analyze logistics processes with regards to the specifics of foodstuff, their assessment and finding optimal solutions. The theoretical part analyzes the components of an integrated logistics chain. The practical part is focused on analysis of the logistics processes associated with the distribution of foods in Nespresso. Emphasis is placed on storage at the distribution center in Prague. Implemented KPIs demonstrate inefficiency of a current information warehouse management system and proposal to implement new one based on automatic identification.
