Title: Ski course of children with mental disabilities Aim of thesis: To develop a set of individual preparatory exercises for training of downhill and cornering techniques in alpine skiing for children with mental retardation. The sub-objective was to test the mastery of individual elements of skiing skills and skiing technique in several children with mental retardation who had completed a ski course Method: This is a theoretical-empirical research. A set of preparatory exercises was tested on a cohort of four children with a diagnosis according to ICD-10in the range F70- 79. Mastery of the skills was assessed using a Likert scale (1-5). Children were observed performing specified, pre-explained and demonstrated skiing skills a total of three times (at the beginning, middle and end of the ski course). Results: A set of preparatory exercises was compiled and tested on a six-day ski course. It showed that children with intellectual disabilities ranging from mild to moderate mental retardation are able to learn and, with prior experience, improve their skiing skills. The child with severe mental retardation did not acquire the skills as he was unable to accept the ski equipment and therefore did not participate in the lessons. All three children who received lessons improved in most of their skiing...

Title: Ski course of children with mental disabilities Aim of thesis: To create a set of individual preparatory exercises for training downhill and turning techniques in alpine skiing for children with MR. The sub-goal is to describe in individually observed children at the beginning, in the middle and at the of end the mastery of individual elements of skiing skills and riding technique during weekly training with the inclusion of optimized APA exercises for alpine disciplines. Method: The method I use in my thesis is observation - an empirical procedure. The cohort consisted of four children with a diagnosis according to ICD-10 in the range of F70 - 79, who were observed three times in total (at the beginning, in the middle and at the end) during the skiing course. Children were observed performing assigned, pre-explained and demonstrated basic and open skiing skills. Results: The methodology was compiled. It has been shown that children with mental disabilities in the range of mild and moderate mental retardation are able to learn and, in the case of previous experience, to improve their skiing skills. A child with severe mental retardation did not acquire the skills, as he/she was not able to accept the ski equipment, so even basic skiing skills were not taught. The children who received skiing...

Buroňová, Zuzana ; Střítecký, Vít (advisor) ; Beneš, Jan (referee)
This thesis is focusing on counterterrorism policies that are used in Indonesia and Saudi Arabia. Because of the limited research on the counterterrorism in non-Western world, this thesis decided to contribute to this research and widen literature on this issue. It first introduces the term terrorism and analyses the counterterrorism models (criminal, war and disease models), which can be found mostly in Western literature. It includes critique of these models and attempt to create an alternative one, because it finds the current models unsuitable even for the Western counterterrorism policies. Besides that there is also introduction to other counterterrorism strategies such as terrorist financing and a subsection on deradicalization that is important part of counterterrorism as well. Then the thesis focuses on two parallel case studies of Indonesia and Saudi Arabia. It examines counterterrorism policies of both of them. The thesis first introduces the countries character, threats they are facing and attacks they have experienced and then analyses what measures are used to fight terrorism. After analysing all aspects of their counterterrorism efforts - legislature, cooperation, deradicalization, military methods etc., the alternative model is applied on each case to see if it is suitable for...
