Architectural study of the sacral object Brno - Líšeň
Bartíková, Michaela ; Marek, Jiří (referee) ; Šindlar, Jiljí (advisor)
The building consists of three different parts. The dominant of the object is the church itself, which is located at the centre. The eastern part serves mainly for private and work activities of the priests. On the ground level, the reception, the office and a meeting room designated for formal meetings, along with lavatory facilities and the sacristy are located. The second and the third floors contain accomodation for the priests. The western part is public, and it consists of a courtyard, a café, a classroom, a clubroom and a multifunctional hall, with its own lavatories.
The new synagogue in Frýdek-Místek
Bartíková, Michaela ; Velek, Jan (referee) ; Dulenčín, Juraj (advisor)
The topic of my diploma thesis is the architectonical study of the new synagogue of Frýdek-Místek. The plot contained the original synagogue in the past, which was, like many other synagogues in Czechia, burned down by the Nazis. The only memento to the original synagogue left was the Jewish school. Its frontage was however stripped of all architecturally valuable elements and therefore lost all its historical value. For this reason, in the scope of this thesis, I have decided to tear down the old building and create a completely new complex, which will comply with the requirements of the Jewish quahal, with regards to architecture and utilization of the object. I’ve designed a monument, consisting of simple stone blocks in place of the old, torn down synagogue. The stone blocks mark the location of the outer walls of the original synagogue.

The goal of this work was to create a social housing using steel beam construction modules from KOMA company. Specifically two-storey apartments for young people from orphanage. The estate contained three buildings. The largest one on the northern side consist of seven apartments, cellars, garages and social-therapeutic hall. Middle object served as a coffee shop on the first above-ground floor and office with manager’s flat on second floor. On the east side are four mezonet apartments. Three of them are part of a joint compact object and the last mezonet is connects to the coffee shop.
