Use of experiential pedagogy to mediate visual impairment to intact children

The Bachelor thesis deals with the possibility of using experiential pedagogy programs to mediate visual impairment to intact children in the basic elementary school. The thesis describes the issue of visual impairment, its classification and functional impacts, and the system of education of individuals with visual impairment in the Czech Republic. The paper further focuses on a detailed definition of the term experiential pedagogy, defines the concept of inclusive education and seeks an answer to the question of why to introduce intact pupils to the issue of (visual) impairment. The research to this paper focused on monitoring how the perception of visual impairment by intact pupils at the elementary school changed after being exposed to an experiential pedagogy program, which focused on the issue of visual impairment. In order to achieve the research goal, a method of a qualitative interview was used for collecting the data and the open coding method was used in the subsequent analysis. Research monitored several partial areas of perception of visual impairment (the area of emotions, the area of knowledge and the area of having a hypothetical classmate with visual impairment). Identita interních pacientů terapeutických komunit pro drogově závislé v interkulturní perspektivě

This thesis focuses on the analysis of 30 interviews with drug addicted patients from therapeutic communities in Peru, Nicaragua and the Czech Republic. The main objective is to recognize the differences in the identity of patients and examine the differences in their assessment of local treatment. Processing will be used for content analysis and created the grounded theory, which explains the socio-cultural differences in the identity of internal patients from different therapeutic communities.

Disposition and metabolism of cannabinoids.

This thesis describes in the form of a commentary on own original publications research on the problems of cannabinoids, ie. phytocannabinoids and some synthetic cannabinoids, their pharmacokinetics and effects. The work consists of four thematic areas: the pharmacokinetics of delta-9- tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabidiol (CBD) in rats, depending on the route of administration; THC concentration time profile in humans (after inhalation) and implications for transport safety; the pharmacokinetic profile of synthetic cannabinoids in rats; extraction and determination of phytocannabinoids in plant material. The first part of the thesis was to determine pharmacokinetic profiles of THC, CBD and combination thereof (1:1 weight ratio) in rats with respect to administration common in humans, i.e. inhalation, oral and subcutaneous administration. THC, its metabolites (11-hydroxy-tetrahydrocannabinol, 11-OH-THC; 11-nor-delta-9- carboxytetrahydrocannabinol, THCOOH) and CBD concentrations in serum and brains of animals were monitored at the 24 hours experimental interval during the study. Disposition of New Synthetic Drugs in The Organism. Pharmacokinetics and Biotransformation Study. Toxicological Detection in Biological Materials.

The object of this thesis was the study on the pharmacokinetics and biotransformation of selected abused new synthetic drugs, specifically belonging to cathinone and aminoindane groups, in experimental rats. This work consisted of two parts: a biotransformation study of mephedrone, methylone, 5,6-methylenedioxy-2- aminoindane (MDAI) and a distribution profile study of mephedrone, methylone, MDAI and naphyrone. This document is presented as a commentary to the original papers, which were published in peer reviewed journals. The samples of blood and tissue (brain, lungs, liver) were taken at specific times after a subcutaneous single bolus dose of the studied drugs. The urine samples for the biotransformation studies were collected over a 24-hour period following the sc. dose. The LC/HRMS method was used for metabolite detection and quantitative analysis. Our findings not only included testing metabolites of the aforementioneddrugs against the synthesized reference standards, but also discovering previously unknown metabolites of these drugs. Subject access at National Library of the Czech Republic, user and librarian preference

This theses deals with the issues of the subject access to the documents at National Library of the Czech Republic with focus on user and librarian preference. It comprises seven chapters, dealing successively with all aspects and activities related to the subject access and knowledge organization at the National Library of Czech Republic. The first part is devoted to the National Library, its position in the system of the Czech public libraries and its organizational structure. Particular attention is paid to the Acquisition, Bibliography and Cataloguing department. The second chapter discusses the importance and methods of content analysis, subject access and knowledge organization. Generally characterizes the types of subject retrieval languages and traditional indexing languages with emphasis on those used in the National Library. The third section concerns principles of subject access at NL with emphasis on users' accessibility. It describes new projects, which should facilitate access to provided information. Primarily it mentions authority files, conspectus, UDC. This chapter is followed by specific examples of cataloging in MARC 21 and the importance of each step for final information retrieval. National subject authority file and its application in specialised libraries on the example of the Library of the Military History Institute

Tématem diplomové práce je obecně Soubor národních věcných autorit a problémy spojené s jeho aplikací v Knihovně Vojenského historického ústavu. Práce je v první části zaměřena na obsahovou analýzu dokumentu a věcné pořádání. Charakterizovány jsou stručně i jednotlivé typy selekčních jazyků, přičemž je kladen důraz hlavně na deskriptorové selekční jazyky a tezaury. Hlavní část popisuje samotný Soubor národních věcných autorit a jeho jednotlivé dílčí soubory, jeho funkci, zabývá se úlohou MDT a skupiny Konspektu a také přibližuje problematiku vyhledávání informací v souvislosti se souborem autorit. Dále je práce věnována Knihovně Vojenského historického ústavu a zejména pak průběhu a stavu věcného zpracování v této instituci. Poslední celek přibližuje konkrétní aplikaci Souboru národních věcných autorit a jednotlivé problematické oblasti s touto aplikací související. Závěr práce patří zhodnocení vhodného postupu a vývoje věcného zpracování v Knihovně Vojenského historického ústavu.

Subject control of grey literature

Tématem diplomové práce je představení a zhodnocení systémů věcného pořádání v oblasti šedé literatury se zaměřením na Systém pro informace o šedé literatuře v Evropě (System for Information on Grey Literature in Europe, SIGLE) a fond šedé literatury ve Státní technické knihovně, která byla hlavním partnerem pro SIGLE v ČR. V rámci srovnání je dále popsána funkce a věcné pořádání v americkém systému Síťové digitální knihovny diplomových a disertačních prací (Networked Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations, NDLTD) a australském systému Australian Digital Theses (ADT). V práci je nejprve charakterizována šedá literatura, definice, dosavadní vývoj a trendy. Následně je popsán elektronický formát diplomové a disertační práce, jejiho vznik a vývoj. Jádro práce bude tvoří samotný popis a srovnání systémů věcného pořádání informací SIGLE, NDLTD, ADT a Polytematického strukturovaného hesláře (PSH). V části věnované praktickému využití předmětových pořádacích systémů je zachycena dosavadní praxe v užívání selekčních jazyků všeobecně a konkrétně v oblasti šedé literatury se specializací na vysokoškolské kvalifikační práce. Biotransformation, disposition and toxicological detection of psychedelic phenylalkylamine drugs of abused

Background: New synthetic drugs known for their psychotropic effects (stimulating, psychedelic and enthactogenic) are drugs of abuse causing number of health and social issues. Together with their consumption the cases of intoxication have increased and therefore the requirements for the differential diagnosis and appropriate therapy have arisen. The aim of the submitted work has been to investigate the disposition and biotransformation profiles of selected synthetic phenylalkylamine derivatives using experimental rats and thus to obtain useful data that might be the base for laboratory diagnostics and appropriate therapy of drug abuse and/or intoxications. These studies have been focused on 2C-B (4-bromo-2,5-dimethoxyphenylethylamine) and PMMA (4-methoxymethamphetamine). (...) Drug concentration levels in blood serum or plasma have been low in relation to much higher tissue concentrations which exceeded multiple times blood concentrations. Proven accumulation abilities of both drugs in lungs and delayed but efficient incorporation with persistence in brain tissue are important pharmacokinetic properties that may explain the delayed onsets and prolonged psychotropic potential. Cataloguing of electronic publications - non-periodical monographs - based on RDA in the MARC21 format

Metodika obsahuje výčet povinných údajů bibliografického záznamu a jejich popis (na úrovni minimálního a doporučeného záznamu pro Souborný katalog ČR), je předpokladem pro sdílení záznamů mezi knihovnami. Vzhledem k tomu, že jsou v metodice akceptovány mezinárodní standardy a zohledněny povinné údaje specifikované v jejich rámci, umožňuje certifikovaná metodika rovněž sdílení záznamů na mezinárodní úrovni.

Methodology for mapping and harmonization of indices, code lists, and controlled vocabularies applied in memory institutions

Poskytuje přehled metod, které při mapování a harmonizaci terminologických zdrojů lze využít a rovněž doporučený postup pro realizaci konkrétních záměrů v této oblasti. V konečném důsledku je také doporučením jak postupovat při integraci specifických terminologických zdrojů do znalostní databáze INTERPI a to i v případě, že tyto terminologické zdroje doposud nebyly reprezentovány pomocí žádného technologického nástroje.
