Czech Interests in Georgia: Analysis of methods of their promotion

The diploma thesis analyzes the way of promoting the national interest of the Czech Republic in Georgia and describes possible changes as a result of the Czech EU Presidency. The national interest is examined based on the assumption that the state foreign policy is the expression of the national interest. Therefore, the primary sources for this analysis are official foreign policy documents of the Czech Republic. The aim is to confirm or disprove the hypothesis that Czech foreign-policy towards Georgia in the period from 2007 to 2011 was driven by the aim to maximize own profit through EU structures. Given the size of the Czech Republic and its geopolitical importace, the analysis is based on the theory of neo-liberal institutionalism, and in accordance with this theory the national interest operationalized into four criteria, namely: 1) Compliance of EU and Czech interests, 2) Profiting from the EU presidency to promote the Czech interests, 3) Long-term consistency of interests, and 4) Economic interests as the main priority. The set of criteria helped to identify whether the Czech Republic behaved in accordance with the theory of neo-liberal institutionalism, and whether the Czech interests were promoted either through multilateral or bilateral relations. Self-tracking as a form of communication: case study of communication of sportsmen in the Czech Republic

This diploma thesis explores a new phenomenon in Communication studies called self- tracking. The activity of self-tracking involves digital technology that enables systematic recording of aspects of individual's life such as sport activity or health. Despite the high number of Czechs who self-track themselves, this activity is not very well-known yet in the Czech Republic. Therefore one of the aims of this diploma thesis is to provide an insight into the communication process between athletes and their self-tracking devices. Research part of the theses should answer the questions about the exchange of information between athletes and technologies. In addition to find out why athletes record sport data, meanings of data and what benefits data bring them. Other part of the research explores attitudes of Czech athletes towards sharing data from sport on social media. The first part of the thesis is dedicated to introduction of the phenomenon, summary of English literature on this topic and determination of critical questions in the current research of self-tracking. Second part is dedicated to description of qualitative research method, analysis and interpretation of data. This bachelor thesis focuses on the phenomenon of influencers on social media and their use in the area of the marketing communication of fashion brands. The purpose of this thesis is to explore the influencer marketing on Instagram. The first part of this thesis describes the theoretical foundations based of marketing communication and PR. The next part of this thesis focuses on the specific forms of influencer marketing on Instagram which are followed by the research of followers of selected influencers that explores the impact of branded content on Instagram.

Cílem práce je vedle komplexního ohodnocení postavení ČR v mezinárodním srovnání analýza vlivu kapitálu na mezinárodní ekonomickou konkurenceschopnost České republiky. Kvalita lidského kapitálu je výchozím předpokladem pro přechod České ekonomiky na znalostně založenou. Vliv finančního kapitálu je znázorněn na dopadech přílivu přímých zahraničních investic na českou ekonomiku.
