The goal of this bachelor thesis is design of kitchen scale. Design is based on a close analysis of historic and contemporary weighing equipment with regard to aesthetic, ergonomic and technical requirements. Designed kitchen scale should facilitate work in the kitchen and also should act as a product of modern interior.

The aim of my bachelor thesis is to make work in kitchen simplier and easier. I wanted to create a kitchen scale, which would be precise, quality and which would be based on modern technologies. The main advantage of this designer concept is wide range of different functions of the kitchen scale. Modern design sould catch the eye of every cook and help them with preparation of any food.
Modern technologies for air conditioning and cooling

This thesis provides an overview of modern air conditioning and cooling technologies. Topics of this thesis include different thermodynamic cooling cycles, refrigerants, main components used in air conditioning and cooling units, and a selection of today’s advanced technologies in the field. Furthermore, a selection of discussed technologies are compared to give an idea of their theoretical effects on efficiency.

Emil Filla and Oskar Kokoschka are important artists who have left a great influence on 20th century art. The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to attempt to formulate the same and different qualities of the expressionist work of Emil Filla and Oskar Kokoschka. The work tries to map and describe these paintings, but the main emphasis is on the starting points of this artistic direction. In addition, it will be necessary to define the general definition of expressionism and its development in the context of Central Europe.
New prepositions and use of ancient Greek prepositions in Modern Greek

Veronika Půlpánová Abstract: The first part of the thesis includes a definition of the term preposition and its general use and here it's represented as an outline of the evolution of the Greek language and prepositions together with the Greek Language tendency to lose declination and its transformation to the modern form. Second part tells about all kinds of prepositions in the Modern Greek language based on scientific grammar books. Prepositions are arranged according to the alphabet based on their types and there is an explanation of its use together with an example from a text from the ETHEG (Εθνικός Θησαυρός Ελληνικής Γλώσσας). In a case of the ancient prepositions based on their frequency and a reason of their preservation, possibly their influence on the preserving cases. The third part is dedicated to the Ancient Greek prepositions and their meanings in this way the contrast of their use between Modern and Ancient Greek is shown. Ancient Greek prepositions which are used in the Modern Greek language are mentioned.
Characteristics of Contemporary Architecture in Sociological View

The thesis is about relation of society and its material environment - architecture. It focuses on current architecture and its characteristics with relation to society. The emphasis is placed on influence of constructions, interaction with users and transmission of meanings. The thesis is characterizing contemporary architecture using theories of Marshall McLuhan. Today's architecture is distinguished by projective character which enables higher participation of users than former architectural traditions. New interconnection of society and architecture appears. It is characterized by higher degree of interaction. At the same time, higher relativization, individualization and virtualization of meanings emerge. Currently, architecture is cool medium through the lens of Marshall McLuhan theories. Dicho libro contiene seis colecciones que reflejan la maduración sucesiva de una sensibilidad. El trabajo va a través de las reflexiones generales hasta la circunstancia histórica cernudiana presentada por los conceptos de la vanguardia y la modernidad, a los cuales intenta acercarse y describirlos. Consecuentemente el trabajo avanza desde el contexto más amplio hasta el espacio español, a la Generación del 27, y luego a la meditación sobre cada una de las colecciones. El objetivo de las reflexiones es una introducción del poeta Luis Cernuda que se acerca con su poética y su vida privada a la grandeza de los poetas europeos, a los cuales premeditadamente elige como una fuente de su inspiración. Los poemas de Cernuda se incorporan, por un lado, a la tradición de la lírica moderna europea cavilada sobre la melancolía y la tristeza y, por otro lado, nos muestran unas originales reflexiones líricas que piensan en el destino humano en general. El trabajo podría ser un impulso para la traducción de la obra cernudiana al checo porque todavía sigue faltando en el espacio literario de nuestro país.
Reflexive style of volunteering at organization focused on integration of foreigners

This diploma thesis deals with the study of the world of reflexive volunteers and their retention in a selected non-profit organization. The theoretical part provides an overview of the motivations for volunteering and the current functioning of volunteering in the Czech Republic and the European Union; it also focuses on transforming the way volunteers are involved from the perspective of modernization and describes in detail the process of volunteer management. The empirical part consists of interviews with ten volunteers in a selected organization in order to understand its motivations, length and intensity of work, relationships with other volunteers and employees. Finally, practical recommendations for the volunteer coordinator are presented regarding selected aspects of volunteer management, with special emphasis on the retention of volunteers.
