Educational support for postproduction of digital photography in metaformat RAW

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to introduce metaformat RAW used in digital photography to readers. Possibilities in photo postproduction while sustaining the maximum quality of the finalised photo have been demonstrated here. As well as time effectiveness of the actual conversion. A part of this thesis is also comparison of several programs there are available for viewing and conversion of RAW metaformat. The chief output of the thesis is educational web page which is presenting RAW format conversion practises in easily accessible way. Users can download source files available on this web page and practically test the described methods of conversion.
Possibilities of Application of Constructivist Approaches within the Teaching of ICT at Elementary (Grammar) School

Key topic of this diploma thesis is study of possibilities of applying constructivist approaches in teaching information and communication technologies (ICT) subject at Czech elementary school (equivalent of K-12). More specified at 1st to 4th grade of multi-year grammar school. The paper maps current situation in education of ICT skills and it consists of theoretical part and action research. Theoretical basis is focused on constructivist pedagogy and includes suggestions, general principles and specific principles for teaching of ICT - computer graphics. These suggestions are verified by action research within ICT lessons.

ABSTRACT: This thesis is focused on the phenomenon of virtual worlds in the context of didactics, in terms of their educational function, didactic specifics and possibilities of utilization. The study deals with virtual worlds as an innovative didactic resource, which is useful in school praxis. The thesis formulates a rating system of suitability of virtual worlds for use in the educational process and this suitability is empirically investigated through an action research. The action research was carried out in different types of virtual worlds and with different teaching contents and objectives, including questionnaires and a comparison of the students' educational results. ABSTRACT: This dissertation aims to examine the educational potential of concept maps in elementary schools and contribute to the expansion of pedagogic theory in the area of didactic resources, as well as develop a constructively oriented method of education. This work defines concept maps as didactic tools; describes them in terms of functional and didactic specifics; analyzes their theoretical results from psychological and pedagogical perspectives; and describes their potential usage in the educational process. This dissertation further focuses on the determinants that influence concept map implementation in teaching, analyzes potential assessment methods, and demonstrates several approaches for utilizing ICT to support work involving concept maps. Empirical research results are used to illuminate the didactic potential of concept maps and methods to incorporate them in teaching. This work represents a comprehensive study overview of concept maps that examines the topic from various angles and directions as they pertain to education. Problems related with input of information technology into education

The subject of this dissertation is area of information and communication technology for social, communicative and cognitive ability of learners and subsequent negative consequences in the process of education. The aim is to identify and analyze problems in the field of education and their connection with the use of information and communication technologies. The thesis involves information from research, which is focused on effects of Information and communication technology on children's psyche and the negative impacts this action in education at the elementary school. To meet the objectives of this dissertation were used theoretical and empirical research methods. The content of theoretical research methods was the study and analysis of literature, articles and especially analysis of scientific literature professionally primary information sources of research studies and experiments. In the field of empirical research methods were used in the thesis questionnaire survey in the realm of community teachers. The conclusion contains the results of exploratory research methods, conclusions and recommended proposals for the area of education and teaching practice.
Negative impacts of input of ICT into education

This diploma thesis deals with analysis of negative impacts of information and communication technologies in education. Health and social behavior related negative impacts, characterized by frequency of occurence or severity, are presented. Emphasized are, however, cognitive functions, especially attention and memory. Negative impacts, which can lead towards deterioration of pupils' ability to learn, are explored in detail. Possible situations of use and aspects of ICT, which can have said effect, are identified. The subject is expanded by possible countermeasures that can be used to prevent, mitigate or eliminate some of the negative impacts. The empiric part of the thesis verifies some of the presented negative impacts of information and communication technologies related in particular to school effectiveness of pupils and additional countermeasures are introduced to reduce these impacts.
Learning styles in informatics subjects

Diploma thesis contains information about learning styles of pupils and identifies effect respecting the learning styles of my lessons. Thesis distinguishes changes in the learning process and their results. Diploma thesis deals with learning styles in context Computer Science Education. The thesis contains theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part focuses on the didactic specifics and formulates the theoretical concept of learning styles in teaching information and communication technologies. The thesis respects preferred learning styles in a particular class and worked on the assumption that respect for learning styles in teaching information and communication technologies can be beneficial for teaching practice. The main objective is to find out change in the quality and results of the educational action. The conclusion summarizes and evaluates the results of research methods and formulates recommendations for teaching practice.

This theme is expanded in the direction of the specifics and possibilities of adaptability and personalization in the context of learning in a virtual environment, particularly with regards to their potential to enhance the pedagogical effectiveness of teaching. The thesis analyzes the adaptability in a virtual learning environment and examines various determinants that influence the results of education in teaching heterogeneous groups of students. With the support of an empirical survey, the thesis explores different aspects of the students' heterogeneity and their influence on the students' progress and results of education in a virtual learning environment. Use of Augmented Reality in Education

This thesis deals with phenomena of augmented reality in context of didactics. The thesis aims to define augmented reality in conceptual and content area and focuses on augmented reality in the structure of educational tools and identification of its functions and use from the didactical standpoint. The thesis characterizes augmented reality as a specific technological-perceptual concept and establishes a system of perceptual, technological and resulting aspects that reflect important parameters of augmented reality. The thesis also examines the didactic specifics of augmented reality, defines the main possible didactic intentions for its use and establishes a structure of augmented reality systems in terms of teaching forms. Thesis defines didactic qualities and specifics of augmented reality as a technical educational tool with the support of empirical research. The concept of the thesis represents a comprehensive study of augmented reality from different perspectives and standpoints related to education and it can be understood as a base for other more specific research projects related to the issue of the use of augmented reality in education.
