This would not be possible without the blessing of Chinese authorities, notable governmental agencies and economic progress. Among the factors influencing this growth are the regulations which are put in action by Chinese government through its central bank (People's Bank of China). At the time of globalisation nothing is isolated anymore. Chinese gold exchanges are taking more and more from the world's exchanges. For the thorough understanding why China has become the number one in the gold production and consumption it is important to understand its history. Without its wisdom and knowledge. It would be futile to try to comprehend why are the Chinese people so obsessed with gold and why they prefer one part of the gold market to the other. The Chinese gold market has a bright future ahead and it grows stronger every day.
