Death - from ZZS (First - aid service) staffer's point of view

This bachelor work is about complete evaluation of death from the medical first- aid service worker's point of view. It concentrates on determination of feelings hierarchy of the medical first - aid service worker during meeting with the death, during patient's death subsiding, furthermore it concentrates on aggression as a reaction to the death from the survivors' side and on the medical first - aid service workers' attitude towards their own mortality. A qualitative part and a quantitative anonymous experimental part are the ground of this work. I evaluated two different types of death, that have an influence on mental state of the medical first- aid workers, by means of two case studies in the qualitative part. I made evaluation immediately after an acute stressful situation and later on after about a half of a year.I evaluated perception of death by the first - aid service worker in the quantitative experimental part by means of an anonymous question-form. My testing sample consists of these first - aid service workers - namely a driver, a driver - rescuer, a medical rescue worker, a nurse with PPS - ARIP, IP. Within the framework of my bachelor work I addressed 110 respondents who gave me back 108 properly filled question-forms.
The mistakes of non-professional during the first aid intervention

Bachelor's survey about providing of first aid intervention and the relevant mistakes, which are done by non-professionals. It guides how to correctly process the first aid intervention. The survey describes the principles of automated external defibrillators, telephonic assist basic life support, touches the law and connected sanctions when the first aid is refused. The study brings proposal to include the theme of first aid in to curriculum the core of the study makes quantitative survey of first aid assistance training, refuses of first aid, misuse of first aid and guidelines how to assist. The samples are ordinary people and professional, as well.
Quality of life of senior women that suffer from incontinence

This bachelor dissatation deals with the problem of female incontinence. Theoretic part is devoted anatomy lower urinary tract, physiology discharging and detail described individual kinds of urinary incontinence, cause, treatment and prevention. In empiric part I felt to valorize how the urinary incontinence affects quality of life. I also tried to find out how long was the time interval before the patient finds the medical hep and if there is enough awareness about the illness and its treatment. My research confirmed the fact that it is important to improve education and have enough Information available about this problem in order to identify the early symptoms and eliminate negative motions. The most important is to improve understanding of women's feelings and needs and to (decrease) eliminate the embarrasment rated to this problem.
A violance in the medical departments and ways to solve the problem

Empirical research is based on analysis of the informing about attacked health workers of the ZZS HMP.

This Bachelor Dissertation deals with the topic of medical care risks, their monitoring and prevention, with a special accent on the area of medical documentation and the role of this documentation in the process of risk management. It mainly tries to survey the level of knowledge of medical documentation content among the nursing staff and concerns with the most frequent risk factors with which the nurses meet within their practice. At the same time, on the basis of the obtained data, it points out the necessity of systematical approach to the issues related to the content and purpose of the new form of documentation. The research which the Dissertation draws on was conducted at surgical departments of a district hospital in the region of Pardubice.
The application of nursing process in two types of healthes institutions

Bachelor's work deals with the application of nursing process in two types of healthes institutions. It balances the distance against a method of implementing putting nursing process into practice. It tries to find facilitating factors and faktors which make difficulty for the application of nursing process. Also it compares the personnel's preparedness for introdiction of nursing process . The inquiry has been provided with nonstandard's questionnaire method. The surveyed sample are nurses near sick-bed, ward nurses, senior nursing officer from surgery, internal medicine and anaesthetic-resuscitation ward and deputy of nursing care.
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation of adults in prehospital immediate care - process at paramedic team

The topic of my bachelor's thesis is: "Cardiopulmonary resuscitation of adults in prehospital immediate care - process at paramedics' teams". I have chosen this topic because I suppose the cardiopulmonary resuscitation is the most recent and important matter which everybody should by aware of and not to be afraid of. My thesis consists of two parts: the theory and research. The theoretical part consists of cardiopulmonary resuscitation provided by paramedics in premedical immediate care, wich is divided further more into airways, circulation, breathing, defibrilation, ECG, fluid and drug. The research part includes the process at paramedics' teams and particular standard refer ring to a cardiopulmonary resuscitatinon in prehospital immediate care according to the new "Guidelines 2005". I hope that I have provided the reader with a complete information of the above mentioned topic so that it can be used as a study material.
The role of fear in invasive treatment

This bachelor's thesis is discussing the role of fear in invasive treatment. This work is intended in particular for nurses. The goal of this bachelor's thesis is to evaluate sensation of fear in patients with the diagnosis of carpal or cubital tunnel syndrome, in relation to an invasive treatment (operation). In the theoretical part were described and defined terms fear, anxiety, phobia, pain, maturity and age, resumed facts about carpal and cubital tunnel syndromes, their symptoms, diagnostics, treatment, and care of the patients after the operative treatment.
Violence in medical institutions and methods of its encompassment

The objective of this Bachelor's thesis is to explore the issue of violence in medical facilities by means of a theoretical study, as well as research using questionnaires completed by a selected group of health professionals. Based on the outcome of the research, I point out shortcomings in security found in medical facilities, and the tendency of management to underestimate security. Emphasis is therefore placed on the role of employers in this area, with a special stress on prevention and ways to address consequences of violence in the workplace. The core of the thesis consists of a quantitative exploration conducted at selected facilities, focusing on the quality of the work environment in terms of safety, protection of medical staff, employer's approach and overall perception of this issue by the health professionals themselves.
Intensive care unit hospitalized man needs

This bachelor's thesis deals with people's needs. It explains the term need, their behaviour when the needs are endangered, and it emphasises people's needs in particular age categories. Particular needs of patients in the intensive care unit are analysed. The need of feeling safe is stressed. A standardized quality interview on the topic of feeling safe and monitoring the patient during the interview are used as research method. The sample consists of patients hospitalized in the intensive care unit of the Gerontological and Metabolic Clinic and patients hospitalized in the coronal unit of the First Internal Clinic of the University Hospital in Hradec Králové.
