Pracovní doba a doba odpočinku jsou pojmy, s kterými se setkávají pracující lidé téměř každý den. Proto hrají v našich životech tak důležitou roli. Cílem této práce je zachytit právní úpravu pracovní doby a doby odpočinku v České republice a zhodnotit její aplikaci v praxi. Zejména posoudit, zda jsou právní předpisy formulovány v souladu s potřebami účastníků pracovněprávních vztahů, nebo by mělo dojít k jistému pozměnění, vypuštění či doplnění. Working hours and rest period are concepts which every working person encounters almost every day. Therefore they are so important for our lives. The object of this bachelor's thesis is summarization of legal provisions concerning working hours and rest period in the Czech republic and evaluation the application of these legal regulations in practise. This bachelor's thesis should especially judge whether legal regulations are formulated in accordance with needs of labour law parties or these legal provisions should be modified, left out or completed.
