Tato práce je zaměřená na oblast problematiky dlouhodobé archivace digitálních fotografií. Cílem této práce je popsat hlavní problémy provázející dlouhodobou archivaci fotografií, hardwarové prostředky a zhodnotit jejich vhodnost pro archivaci fotografií, vysvětlit jednotlivé druhy metadat a formátů obrazových dat a posoudit jejich vhodnost pro archivaci fotografií. V praktické části jsem zkoumala archivy tří vybraných společností. Přínosem této práce je zhodnocení a seznámení se třemi vybranými programy, které usnadňují archivaci fotografií a také popis funkcí a zhodnocení vybraných internetových úloţišť. Dále jsem se zabývala otázkou legislativy, která ovlivňuje archivaci dat a vytyčila nejdůleţitější zákony a standardy, které tuto oblast upravují. This work is focused on problem of long-term archiving of digital photos. The goal of this work is to describe main problems of long term archiving of photos, the hardware resources and evaluate their suitability for archiving of digital photos, explain types of metadata and image file formats and it's suitability for archiving of photos. In practical part I studied the archives of three selected companies. The benefit of this work is evaluation and introduction of three selected programs simplifying archiving of photos. Next benefit of this work is description and evaluation of selected online photo storage services. I also concerned with question of legislation that affects archiving of data and identified the most important laws and standards covering this area.
