Práce se věnuje analýze konkurence vyměnitelných břitových destiček, které jsou využívány pro soustružení za nižších šířek záběru ostří než je rádius špičky. V práci je provedená analýza pěti VBD od různých firem. Dále se porovnávají utvařeče třísky u vybraných VBD a nakonec je popsáno testování VBD a jeho výsledky na základě tvarů třísek. Thesis is devoted to the analysis of the competition of indexable cutting inserts, which are used for turning at lower cutting widths of the blade than the tip radius. Thesis is an analysis of five indexable cutting inserts from diferent companies. Furthermore the chip breakers of selected inserts are compared and finally the testing of the insert and its results based on metal chip shapes are described.
