Diplomová práce "Role sociálního pracovníka v psychiatrické nemocnici - výzvy a limity práce" se zabývá profesí sociálního pracovníka v psychiatrické nemocnici. Diplomová práce se standardně skládá z teoretické a empirické části. Teoretická část je zaměřena na duševní onemocnění, charakteristiku závažných duševních onemocnění, profesi sociálního pracovníka pracujícího v psychiatrické nemocnici, multidisciplinární spolupráci, specifika práce s duševně nemocnými, reformu psychiatrické péče a organizaci lůžkové psychiatrické péče v České republice. V empirické části je popsána metodologie kvalitativního výzkumného šetření a interpretována data, která jsou výsledkem polostrukturovaných rozhovorů se sociálními pracovníky a jejich klienty. V závěru diplomové práce je zodpovězena hlavní výzkumná otázka, součástí jsou doporučení pro praxi a návrhy dalších výzkumů. The diploma thesis normally consists of a theoretical and an empirical part. The theoretical part is focused on mental illness, the characteristics of serious mental illness, the profession of a social worker working in a psychiatric hospital, multidisciplinary cooperation, the specifics of working with the mentally ill, the reform of psychiatric care and the organization of inpatient psychiatric care in the Czech Republic. In the empirical part, the qualitative research methodology is described and the data, which are the result of semi-structured interviews with social workers and their clients, are interpreted. At the end of the thesis, the main research question is answered, recommendations for practice and proposals for further research are included.
