Tato teoreticko-empirická práce se zabývá podstatnými aspekty poradenské činnosti výchovného poradce na základní škole. Po vymezení školního poradenství a popisu systému školských poradenských služeb provádíme výčet možných vztahů mezi výchovným poradcem a dalšími subjekty a následně analyzujeme možné role v komunikaci výchovného poradce, které z nich vyplývají. V souvislosti s tím se zabýváme osobnostními nároky a odbornou kvalifikací podstatných pro výkon funkce výchovného poradce a zaměřujeme se též na etickou dimenzi této poradenské úlohy. V další kapitole rozebíráme způsob práce výchovného poradce vycházející ze znalosti poradenských přístupů, které je možné uplatňovat ve školním prostředí, a dále ukazujeme, že základem jeho diagnostické činnosti jsou klinické metody, které popisně rozebíráme v závěru této kapitoly. Konkrétní náplň práce výchovného poradce a těžiště jeho činnosti nacházíme v rozboru a komparaci současné školské poradenské legislativy. Teoretické výstupy celé práce nám jsou podkladem k empirickému zkoumání poradenské praxe výchovných poradců. Poslední kapitolu věnujeme analýze a komparaci teoretických a empiricky získaných údajů a vyvozujeme z nich závěry týkající se úlohy výchovného poradce na základních školách. This theoretical-empirical work deals with the major aspects of consultancy of the educational counsellor of an elementary school. After the definition of school counselling and the description of system of education consultancy services, we describe relations among the educational counsellor and other subjects of the system. Then we analyze possible roles in counsellor's communication that arise from the relations. In connection with this, we deal with personal demands and professional qualification that are essential for the post of the educational counsellor and we focus on ethical dimension of his consultancy. In the next chapter we discuss the methods in his work that arise from the knowledge of consultancy approaches that are practiced at schools. Then we show that his diagnostic work is based on clinical methods. We discuss them in the end of the chapter. We find the concrete job description and the focus of educational counsellor's work in the analysis and the comparison of current school consultancy legislation. The theoretical conclusions of this work are the base for empirical research of the consellor's consultancy practice.
