čj Bakalářská práce Psychologové v médiích a jejich vnímání publikem se zabývá tématem popularity oboru psychologie, publikací online i tištěných článků s psychologickými tématy, komentáři psychologů a vnímání těchto textů publikem. Dále popisuje, jak by mělo vypadat novinářské informování o psychologických tématech, aby se minimalizovalo zkreslení či sdílení nepravdivých informací. Zabývá se také způsoby prezentace psychologie, její popularizací a úskalími, která v rámci ní vznikají. V teoretické části je představeno vědecké pozadí psychologie, výzkumné metody, které užívá, možné důvody výskytu tématu psychologie v médiích a nelehký vztah psychologů a novinářů, kteří mají často odlišné hodnoty a cíle. Dále jsou zde popsány různé role, které má psycholog v rámci mediální prezentace sebe a svého oboru, a úskalí psychologické popularizace. Praktická část práce se zabývá obsahovou analýzou online i tištěných článků s psychologickými tématy a komentářů psychologů k tématům. Dále se praktická část zabývá percepcí článků s psychologickými tématy. Prostřednictvím behaviorálního experimentu je zkoumáno, zda pro čtenáře hraje z hlediska důvěryhodnosti textu roli to, jestli článek odkazuje na vědecké studie a data nebo pouze na zkušenost a přesvědčení. Zkoumáno je také, zda hraje v rámci percepce... aj The bachelor theses named Psychologists in the media and their perception by audience describes the popularity of the field of psychology, the publication of online and printed articles with psychological topics, commentaries of psychologists, and the audience's perceptions of these topics. Further, it describes how the reporting of psychological topics should appear to minimize the biases or report fictional information. The thesis also deals with the ways of presenting psychology, its popularization, and related pitfalls. The theoretical part introduces the scientific background of psychology, the research methods that psychology uses, possible reasons for the appearance of psychology in the media, and the complicated relationship of psychologists and journalists because those two groups have often totally different values and goals. Next, it describes the different parts that psychologists play in the media self-presentation, the presentation of their field, and the pitfalls of psychological popularization. The practical part presents the content analysis of online and printed articles on psychological topics and comments of psychologists on these topics as quoted by the journalists.
