ROLE INTRACELULÁRNÍHO ŽELEZA V LYMFO/MONOCYTECH V PROCESU ATEROGENEZE MUDr. Peter Riško Úvod: Zvýšená hladina zásobního železa je spojena s vyšší frekvencí kardiovaskulárních příhod (KVP). Cíle a hypotézy: Studie zkoumá vztah mezi LIP (labilní pool železa) v cirkulujících monocytech a markery metabolismu železa a aterosklerózy (zánět, oxidativní stres, endotelová dysfunkce a arteriální elasticita) u pacientů s chronickým kardiovaskulárním onemocněním a zdravých dobrovolníků, a u dlouhodobých dárců krve a zdravých ne-dárců. Metody: Od probandů byla získána podrobná anamnéza a bylo provedeno antropometrická měření (tělesna výška, váha a obvod pasa a boků, výpočet indexu tělesné hmotnosti a poměr pas-boky). U všech respondentů byly měřeny / vypočteny tyto parametry: krevní tlak (systolický / diastolický), index kotník- paže (ankle-brachial index - ABI), pulzní tlak a střední arteriální tlak, cardio-ankle vascular index (CAVI), augmentation index (AI), pre-ejection time (PEP) a ejection time (ET), sonografické vyšetření břicha a karotických tepen. Odběr vzorků krve probíhal ráno, po minimálně 10 hodinovém lačnění. Provedli jsme základní biochemické vyšetření a měřili jsme parametry zánětu, endoteliální dysfunkce, oxidačního stresu. Aims and hypothesis: The study investigates the relationship between LIP (labile iron pool) in circulating monocytes and markers of iron metabolism and atherosclerosis (inflammation, oxidative stress, endothelial dysfunction and arterial elasticity) in patients with chronic cardiovascular disease and in healthy volunteers and in long-term blood donors and healthy non-donor volunteers. Methods: A detailed medical history was obtained from the probands and anthropometric measurements (body height, weight and waist, calculation of body mass index and waist-hip ratio) were performed. The following parameters were measured / calculated for all respondents: blood pressure (systolic / diastolic), ankle-brachial index (ABI), pulse pressure and mean arterial pressure, cardio-ankle vascular index (CAVI), augmentation index (AI), pre-ejection time (PEP) and ejection time (ET), sonographic examination of abdomen and carotid arteries were performed.
