Byla vyšetřována možnost použití mikrovln pro expanzi grafitu. Bylo zjištěno, že mikrovlnná expanze poskytuje produkt o vyšší kvalitě ve srovnání s dosud používaným konvenčním ohřevem. Microwaves have been used to examine possibility of transformation of graphite by expansion. It was concluded that product of microwave expansion gives product of better quality compared to conventional heating.
