Tropický druh sinic Lyngbya robusta vytvořil silný vodní květ v tropickém jezeře Atitlan, Guatemala. Je to první případ nadprodukce tohoto druhu v jezerních ekosystémech. V článku jsou uvedeny hlavní příčiny jeho výskytu, sezónní změny a ekologický dopad. The tropical species Lyngbya robusta occured the first time as a dominant water-bloom forming cyanobacterium in tropical lake Atitlan, Guatemala. In the abstract are presented the main reasons of its occurrence, development and ecological consequences.
