Bakalářská práce Had v českém obrazu světa je etnolingvistická studie vycházející z konceptů a zkoumání slovanské kulturní lingvistiky, jejíž základní teze jsou představeny v první části práce. Stručně nastiňuje zoologický pohled na hada i jeho místo ve světové mytologii, poté přechází k obšírnému popisu výrazu had, tak jak je fixován v češtině na základě etymologie a definic z výkladových slovníku. Stěžejní část práce se soustředí na rozličné pojetí hada v českém tradičním i moderním folkloru. Shromážděním a interpretací podob hada v české frazeologii, v tradičních pohádkách, pověstech a bajkách i v současných městských legendách směřuje bádání ke svému cíli - vytvořit otevřenou definici hada v české kultuře, tj. jeho obraz světa v českém jazyce. The bachelor thesis Snake in the Czech Worldview is an ethnolinguistic study, which is based on the concepts and methodology of the Slavic cultural linguistics, of which principles are introduced in the first chapter of the thesis. Zoological point of view on a snake and its position in the world mythology are introduced before the thesis explores the word snake in the Czech ethymological and monolingual interpretative dictionaries. The most signifiant part of the thesis is focused on the many forms and shapes that a snake aquires in the Czech traditional and also modern folklore. By gathering and analysing the phraseology, traditional fairy tales, legends and fables and also contemporary urban legends concerning snakes, the research is heading towards the final conclusion - to create the definition of a snake in the Czech culture, thus its position in the Czech worldview.
