Keywords: its control algorithm; the control of the manikin by means of the thermophysiological model FMTK in the temperature control mode was proposed and its functionality was tested in the climatic chamber based on comparison of the results with the experiments from the literature. The control is suitable for mild and cold environments where the ambient temperature does not exceed the skin temperature.; The diploma thesis is focused on the connection of thermal manikin with human’s thermophysiological model. The thesis includes an introduction to the issue of determining the thermal comfort of a person and the possibility of using a thermal manikin to test thermal comfort under certain conditions. The theoretical part of the thesis includes the review of state-of the about thermal manikin; the principle of operation and examples of use.
