Tématem této diplomové práce je krajina, konkrétně městská krajina pražské Palmovky a její rozličné dimenze. Krajina je v sociálně-antropologickém a kulturně-geografickém diskurzu komplexním, multidimenzionálním a mnohovrstevnatým konceptem otevírajícím zajímavé výzkumné otázky a imaginace. V tomto pojetí krajina nezůstává pouze souhrnem materiálních aspektů přírodního prostředí kolem nás, ale jedná se také o pole politického vyjednávání, mocenských tenzí, prožitků, reprezentací a obecně vzájemného působení mezi ní a člověkem. Na základě tohoto pohledu autor zkoumá krajinu Palmovky, která je sama o sobě mnohovrstevnatou a složitou. Lze zde spatřovat různorodost urbánních struktur a historických stop, neuskutečněné vize rozvoje a dlouhodobé hledání jednotné koncepce různými aktéry v rámci politických vyjednávání. Jejich cílem je dát této krajině vnitřního města tvář. S tímto vyjednáváním souvisí také pozorovatelné procesy měnící jak fyzickou, tak sociální dimenzi Palmovky na základě snah o regeneraci území. K těmto procesům patří gentrifikace týkající se stěhování mladých a většinou vysokoškolsky vzdělaných obyvatel do starších částí vnitřního města. Snahou autora této práce bylo zachytit především na základě terénního pozorování a rozhovorů s aktéry v této krajině, čím je Palmovka (nejenom v rámci... The topic of this diploma thesis is the landscape, specifically the urban landscape of Prague's Palmovka and its various dimensions. In a social anthropological and culturally geographical discourse, the landscape is a complex, multidimensional and multi-layered concept that opens up interesting research questions and imaginations. In this discourse, the landscape is not only a summary of the material aspects of the natural environment around us, but it is also a field of political negotiations, power tensions, experiences, representations and generally interactions between itself and man. From this point of view, the author explores the landscape of Palmovka, which is itself a multi-layered and complex in a view of the diversity of urban structures, historical memos, unrealized visions of development and long-term search for unified concept by various actors during political negotiations that would give this inner city landscape a face. This negotiation is also related to observable processes changing both the physical and social dimension of Palmovka based on efforts to regenerate the area.
