[cze][eng] Chemická recyklace PET na kyselinu tereftalovou a etylenglykol se provádí ve dvou stupních basickou glykolýzou a následnou hydrolýzou. Vzniklý hydrolyzát se pomocí elektrolýzy dělí na suspenzi kyseliny tereftalové a basický roztok glykolu. Krystalická kyselina tereftalová se oddělí ze suspenze a po promytí se suší. Etylenglykol se získává vakuovou destilací.Chemical recycling of PET to terephtalic acid and ethyleneglycol is carried out in two stages through alkaline glykolysis and subsequent hydrolysis. The product of hydrolysis is elektrolicically further separated into terephtalic acid suspense and alkaline glykol solution. Crystallic terephtalic acid separates from the suspense and once washed is dried. Vacuum istilation is applied to get ethylenglycol.
